Apparently I've been incredibly lucky lately because I've been trying a lot of new places or new items at familiar places and have not been disappointed all too often. Roma was no exception! This place unique and delicious. I started out with a roast beef sandwich with roasted red pepper and it was very tasty. Being a bakery u know I had to get few sweets so I got a cinnamon walnut cookie, walnut brownie and the cinnamon roll and while they were all delicious, the roll was the crowning achievement. The cinnamon roll had a crispy, flakey exterior and the closer you got to the center the sweeter and softer it got. I'm a cinnamon roll lover and this was one of the best I've had. It also has raisins which actually worked well with this unique style roll. After the first round I went back for another along with a breakfast burrito which was also very unique. The green chili was spicy but not overwhelming and was indeed unique as far as flavor, and the potatoes were cut into thick squares. It definitely had more of a hardy bite than most burritos, I was very pleased. After the burrito I devoured my 2nd roll, thanked the staff and left completely satisfied. ...

The week before I was in Roma bakery, I was at Salvador De Rosa's bakery in Manori Italy. My wife and I spent several weeks across Italy on vacation. We ate some of the most exquisite food in the world. When I got back to Albuquerque I started looking for the most authentic Italian bakery I could find. At Roma bakery I asked for my favorite treats by name with no joy. Roma Italian bakery didn't have any of these things, not even so much as a loaf of Italian bread. The closest thing I saw that they had to an Italian pastry was something covered in powdered sugar. It resembled an Italian wedding cookie but the shape and size were all wrong. The items I saw behind the glass looked good and probably tasted fine. That is why I gave it two stars. I didn't get anything because I wanted Italian pastries. This place is as Italian as a gas...

Amazing First Experience!

This was my first time visiting, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked what I’d like to order. They had an amazing special— a burrito and coffee for about $9— which was a great deal. I also got a pastry, and it was absolutely delicious!

The burrito was a good size (I used a K-cup for reference) and packed with flavor. I ordered the red chile and carne adobada breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint. The red chile was perfection—just the right balance of spice and richness. The food tasted incredibly authentic and homemade, just like something you’d get from a family kitchen.

I will definitely...

I go to Roma Bakery about once a week. Most of their clients are reoccurring customers from the nearby residential community, downtown workers, and law enforcement officials. The food and sweets are amazing with a decent variety. Whether it’s for takeout or dine in, it’s always a great experience. Oscar is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I’m particular when it comes to coffee and theirs is one of the best. You gotta try this place at least once. There is free street parking a couple of blocks away and paid street parking along Roma (not an issue for me as I walk there).

My wife and I stopped by the Roma Bakery based on the overwhelming reviews on Google. We generally feel the same. I had a bear claw pastry and a banana nut muffin. The bear claw was delicious and the muffin was good. My wife had a chocolate chip cookie which was the star of the visit. I tasted it and totally agreed with her. Her second cookie, a sugar cookie with sprinkles would be great for kids. Good, solid bakery. They also have breakfast sandwiches but we did not try them.
