Corporate Daiso, even decided that they were going to give teachers 10% off this week!

Today is the penultimate day of the Special, so as soon as I walked in, I checked with one of the employees.

She said she would check with her manager, and 25 minutes after I spoke with her, she did check with her manager.

He said he needed to speak with his manager, so five minutes later, they spoke. The highest level manager confirmed that the sale existed, but said that they needed to print a barcode so that I could receive my discount.

It is now 40 minutes since I first entered the store and made them aware of the fact that I would be asking for the teacher discount.

They need Corporate Daiso to do a better job of supporting them...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love that there has been more to offer and that they took care to the placements of items to make it seem more orderly and easy to find. I've shopped at daiso for years and was so glad to have one finally come out here. It makes me feel less homesick. The only problem I see is that some customers don't bother to look at or read the BIG signs with the prices and the multiple notifications on things saying the all sales are final. I think the employees do a great job at trying handling the few self-absorbed and entitled karens they get. As a former Californian, I have missed having a Daiso. Daiso will constantly surprise you. They have Sanrio merch, ramen, marble sodas, pet beds and toys, shoes, reusable shopping bags and so many other things. It's a great place for gift bags and cute stationery too. I went on opening day in Albuquerque. The line for the register wound around the periphery of the store and took about ninety minutes and no one was upset about it.
