Starbucks — Restaurant in Alpena Township

Yesterday we were in from out of town. Pulled up in the drive thru. My daughter placed our order. "Trying to get her less anxious in the drive thru" anyhow. I'm digging for my debit card and my stomach drops. It is no where to be found. We pull out of the drive thru and park to try and find it. No luck. I walked inside to talk to the ladies and let them know. I felt so embarrassed and honestly freaking out. 2hours from home. I cant find my debit card anywhere. But the ladies were so nice about it. Didn't make me feel worse. They understood and made sure to mention good luck and make sure to lock my card. So thankful I did. I dropped it in a parking lot at a dollar general. It was taken instead of turned in :( but thanks to those ladies everything worked out...

My review should reflect a 3.5 at this location. I rarely go to Starbucks. Maybe once a year. I have a gift card and while out of town I thought I would get something better than a hotel coffee. Initially I was planning on going in so I could look at their menu but quickly realized parking is limited. So I went through the drive thru. This is the reason for the lower review. While the service was very good, they had a very limited menu board outside. Lucky there were a few vehicles in front of me which gave me time to pull up a menu on my phone. I am from downstate and I think this is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been going to them for years. I ordered a Venti mocha hot and it was perfect. Just the right amount of chocolate and no whipped cream just as I requested. The young lady that waited on me was very kind with a very big smile.
