I recently visited Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, located at 6065 North Point Pkwy Suite 230, Alpharetta, GA 30022 and I can’t stop raving about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff, especially our server Alex A., made me feel right at home. Alex was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping me navigate the menu, which made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that delivers on both flavor and service, Snooze is the place to go—call (470) 835-9710 or check them out online to make a reservation!
I started my meal with the I Latte, opting for a no-milk whole sub with 6oz of almond milk. It was the perfect balance of rich espresso and creamy almond milk, offering a smooth, nutty flavor that felt indulgent yet light. Alex made sure it was prepared exactly to my liking, checking in to confirm the substitution worked for me. It set the tone for the rest of the meal, and I appreciated how customizable their drink options are.
For the main event, I couldn’t resist the OMG French Toast, and let me tell you—it lives up to its name! The brioche was perfectly golden and stuffed with mascarpone, then topped with vanilla crème, caramel, fresh strawberries, and toasted coconut. Every bite was a delightful mix of textures and flavors, and Alex recommended pairing it with a side of their signature SD Bacon, which was crispy, smoky, and the perfect complement. I also ordered the Shrimp & Grits with one scrambled egg, and it was hands-down one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve had. The cheesy grits were creamy and comforting, loaded with sautéed shrimp and Andouille sausage, all topped with a perfectly cooked egg. Alex suggested adding a bit of hot sauce for an extra kick, and it elevated the dish even more.
To round out the experience, I indulged in a cocktail—a vodka (1.5oz) and OJ mixer (5.5oz) that was refreshing and perfectly balanced. It felt like the ideal brunch drink, and Alex made sure it was mixed just right, even suggesting I try it with a splash of sparkling water next time for a twist. The attention to detail and personalized recommendations from Alex made the meal feel special, and it’s clear they take pride in ensuring every guest leaves happy.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, has quickly become my go-to brunch spot, and I can’t recommend it enough. The food is creative and delicious, the drinks are spot-on, and the service—especially from Alex A.—is exceptional. Whether you’re in the mood for something sweet like the OMG French Toast or savory like the Shrimp & Grits, you’re in for a treat. Don’t sleep on this place—head to Snooze and see for yourself why it’s breakfast,...
Read moreNice brunch shop off Haynes Bridge and N Point. Free parking available and had a good amount of spaces available (may have to walk a bit to get to the door though). They have online waitlist reservations, but you are required to join Yelp to check in 😒.
As I walked into the restaraunt, there was a line waiting to be seated. We arrived on time but still had to wait to be seated.
Waiting staff was super friendly. We were seated within minutes of arriving. It was a Friday afternoon and it was about 65% to capacity.
Ordered the Ham Benedict III, pancake flight, and sweet potato bacon smash with honey oat latte, strawberry lavender mocktail, and early grey tea. The worst part about this whole experience was the wait time for the food. It was roughly 40 minutes. When the food finally arrived, a pancake flavor was wrong and some of the food was cold. The taste profile was absolutely delicious. Everything was great. Portion sizes were a bit small. We left still feeling hungry. The remade pancakes came out in about 7 minutes. Also, one of my guests had a Lactose intolerance. Not too many options. Hollandaise usually is fine, but it's a smoke cheddar version. Not a lot of options on specials for that.
Seating was a bit weird. Sat in these fancy half circle seats. I got a dump truck, so of course I moved the seat as soon as I sat down and nearly busted my butt.
Overall a nice experience. However, the portion sizes for the price wasn't worth it for me. I hope the next time I come back they can mitigate some of that wait time. Not a big deal as the literally just...
Read moreWell, folks, it’s Saturday, and you know what that means—time to ditch the cereal box and treat ourselves to a breakfast adventure! This morning, after dropping our son off at his activity site, Lela and I hightailed it to Snooze for some foodie magic. Spoiler alert: Our taste buds did a happy dance, though my palate had a tiny salty showdown! I dove headfirst into the Habanero Pork Belly Breakfast Fried Rice—and oh boy, what a flavor explosion! Picture this: jasmine-garlic fried rice mingling with tender braised habanero pork belly, sautéed red bell peppers, onions, poblanos, and carrots, all jazzed up with pineapple and a sriracha maple aioli. Topped with two crispy sunny-side-up eggs, scallions, and a kick of kimchi spice, it’s 930 calories of pure breakfast bliss. The only hiccup? It was a tad too salty for my liking—my tongue threw a mini protest! If they could dial down the salt and crank up the spice, this dish would be straight-up heavenly. Still, I devoured it with a grin. Lela, meanwhile, opted for the Basil & The Bee Burrata Toast, and let me tell you, it’s a work of art! Toasted rustic bread slathered with a balsamic date spread, creamy burrata, basil pesto, roasted tomatoes, and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. At 770 calories and $15.5, it’s a sweet-and-savory masterpiece that had her swooning. Those vibrant cherry tomatoes and that honey drizzle? Chef’s kiss! The plate looked so good, I almost asked for a portrait session with it. And the coffee? Excellent! A perfect companion to wash down our...
