I was so excited to buy a new temple dress after having my five kiddos. But upon receiving my order in the mail, I couldn’t believe that my temple dress that I’d spent nearly $100 on was not the requisite white prescribed by the Church Handbook. I drove almost a hour to take the dress back to the store to consult with the clerks before deciding to return it. I felt crazy when the clerk told me that she wears an off white dress to the temple and no one has ever bothered her about it and added that she’s a temple worker. I just don’t want to be judged or told to change at the temple because my temple dress isn’t white. I wish stores that market temple dresses would simply keep them all white since that’s the policy. I called distribution services and explained that I really did like the ivory dress I’d purchased but wanted to be sure it wasn’t going to cause me any trouble at the temple. This is a really cute little boutique! The employees were super friendly and helpful with finding dresses that my sister might like (who wasn't with us) with just some descriptions of her favorite dresses. Apparently two of those dresses came from Colby & Claire because the employee found them with our description! I loved that they put the material on the sign for each dress. I loved being able to just know that because I have some allergic reaction to polyester. They have a lot of beautiful white dresses that work for the temple, but that's not even half of the options they have. Only losing a star because it was awful to park at! Every time I’ve gone into this store, I’m happily welcomed. The staff is so nice and helpful. The store is always so organized and clean. I was surprised at the variety of cute clothes! It’s not just a store for temple dresses but other kinds of dresses, skirts, shirts, sweaters, shoes, etc. Also, the temple dresses here are the best price and selection I’ve seen! I love that I won’t need to wait another 12 years to buy a new one since it doesn’t...
