I recently had a VERY poor experience at this store. Last Saturday, I drove over by to get some shopping done. I specifically needed clothing for an event that evening. The store is about 25-minutes away, but I have in the past really enjoyed shopping at this store. Upon arrival the store was not busy but the clothing was very messy on the shelves. For example, I had to dig through the jeans as the sizes and styles were all mixed together. I did try on a pair of paints and a few other things. One of the employees offered to bring me a different size, which was very kind of them. However, she then forgot about it, got distracted and never came back. Upon check out I noticed that one of the items I was purchasing had an ink tag on it, and asked the employee to remove it before she put it in the bag. Imagine my surprise when I arrived home that afternoon to discover that the pants I had just purchased had an ink tag on them! I returned to the store today, which was the earliest I could return. The employees were entirely unapologetic. In fact, when I expressed to them what a shame it was that I was not only inconvenienced by not being able to wear the pants when I had intended to, but also that I was inconvenienced by having to drive the 25-minutes one way back the employee said "that's not that far away." At no point was I given an apology, nor did they attempt in anyway to make it right. After so many positive experiences in the past I was shocked by this...
Read moreHorrible experience! We had to drive over an hour because the closest one was the American Fork location. We had gift cards for my wife’s birthday and we do this every birthday. They had problems with one of the cards and the rep was kind enough to give us a discount but called the manager to figure out the card! She actually took off the original discount we already got because she said it was the representative fault! She shouldn’t have given you that much! Not sure why it was us who had to be responsible for it! She then upped the price by $20 and wanted us to pay the difference! What a horrible management and customer service! Instead of accommodating the customer since we drove that far! She let us walk out of the store empty handed! All we got was: SORRY! She shouldn’t have given you that discount! And for the other card, get in touch with the card company and figure it out! We were prepared to pay the difference in cash but she took the discount we first got from the rep. How do they expect people to shop there? That manager also stated: I’m having a bad day already because another customer pulled the cancer card on me! Sorry she said! But my husband died two years ago and it’s not my problem that you have cancer! So rude! What a horrible gift on my wife’s birthday we got by going there! She ruined our day really! Lane Bryant is a wonderful place for curvy plus sized women to find clothes and undergarments that fit and are cute and comfortable. I have always been thin till after I had my first baby. My adjusting post partum body was very different and I was recommended lane Bryant. I went to another location, My experience was great! I left feeling confident and comfortable. Fast forward about a year I went to this location. And was met by a mean grumpy older lady, who after I told her I was looking for the clearances section; watched me like a hawk. She wasn’t personal don’t ask if I needed help or a room for try on. I order online now my experience is actually Affected me wanting to go in and encounter her again I figure she was the manager.
