I’d give zero if I could… I used to shop here all the time.
This time I was greeted very friendly, and then one second later I was greeted by a security woman who was blocking the aisle I wanted to go down, almost like she immediately thought I was trying to do something bad or steal. She didn’t move and kept asking how I’m doing, and then I rolled my eyes and went to a different aisle where I could easily get down and look for the product I was looking for. She did move and follow myself and people around the store which was obvious as other people I interacted with in the store also elaborated on. She blocked the entire Morphe aisle. She was doing loss prevention 100% but this store is just going to lose business if they act like that. Just my personal opinion.
Then I get to the front just to double check a gift card that I had in my wallet. As the associate asked me to come forward and asked if I had any questions, I started speaking, and then she went over near the entrance and completely walked away from me and
the other person and started asking them about what they could find. Normally, I wouldn’t care, but it was very blatant and while we We’re currently speaking to each other. Mid sentence weird super poor customer service.
This same associate came back and I did verbally express in quotations “ I was right in the middle of speaking with you and then you went over there to another person but OK.” She did not acknowledge anything from this interaction and continued on like literally nothing happened. Asked me my member number, that’s it and it didn’t Seem like she really wanted to be there at all or maybe she was loopy or something I really don’t know
I asked her if she could check the balance on my gift card and at this point, I didn’t have anything in my basket and was simply asking for a balance. She swiped my card four times and it was coming up with a zero balance. I had the receipt showing that I had a little bit of a balance on it. I even wrote the number on the gift card from when I was in the store last time then it seemed like a lightbulb clicked and she was able to find it and she told me the . Something was totally off
This was at the American Fork location. I was there around 1:15 PM on Wednesday October 29h. She seemed middle aged with a little longer than shoulder length hair. She seemed older like forties to fifties.probably fifties just Being respectful

Read moreI had a terrible experience with this store team. My time is so limited (as I work retail too) I finally had time to stop at this Ulta location to pick up a few necessities. I was in the store for a solid hour. I was in the salon area to pick up some hair products. It took some time to get acknowledged, but when I did, the girl was friendly enough. I moved across the store, where again, didn’t receive help, until I asked. Again, the girl was friendly enough, they just didn’t seek out opportunities to service their guests. There were several replenishment racks on the floor and I found myself shopping off of those instead of their location due to lack of products in their home locations. By the time I made it to the line, there were a couple lines forming and I got in line behind a customer. While we were waiting, I was obviously looking at the makeup and other things until my turn was up. All registers were running. The girl in front of me was called next, then as she was finished, I started to walk up ( I was next) and the cashier I was on my way to, says, “sorry the lines are wonky that lady has been waiting awhile.” I didn’t realize that me waiting in the line I was in was not the correct line, even though the girl in front of me was allowed to proceed I was an irrelevant customer (?). I chose to call and express my frustration, but the service manager I spoke to blew me off and instead of apologizing for the situation chose to push back with they try their best and she hates the way the company told them to lay down the stickers informing customers where to get in line (which I followed) To the Service Managers credit, she was made to understand that I had just walked up, because that’s what the cashier who blew me off implied, which was false, and they’d be able to see that on camera anyway. I elevated my call to guest services. I just received an email from guest services saying the store tried to both call and email to help resolve my poor service experience. No email, no phone call. I was home all day and had my phone with me. So, in essence, from start to now, I’m waiting to have my guest experience resolved to no avail. My time was wasted and I still have to find time to get my products. Lame all...
Read moreNormally I have good experiences at Ulta but today not so much. I went in there carrying my 9 month old because I was just going in to get conditioner because I had a $30 gift card. I went and got conditioner and went and waited in a long line with one cashier working it took a while to get to the front, especially when carrying a baby and product. I then got to the front and was informed that I could get another bottle for 50 percent off, I figured the cashier would go back and grab it for me but she didn’t she just told me I wouldn’t have to wait in line again I could just come to the front. So then I go back and grab the product and when I get back she’s helping someone else and another cashier is there helping someone else too. The lady helping me before is sitting there offering the other lady to open up a new credit card, taking forever. The other lady keeps helping other customers so I wait and wait and wait. When the other lady finally helps me she didn’t tell me if I had any points and told me the total was 30.03 my gift card covered all but 3 cents.... I did not have cash on me and told the lady I would have to go out to my car (with my baby) after waiting all that time just to get 3 freakin pennies.... totally ridiculous to me. I then go out to my car to get there every last dime (3 pennies) come back in and they are once again helping other customers and I have to wait For The Third Time With A Baby! When they finally help me again.... I asked if I could see if I had any points and the lady told me unfortunately that would not be possible since I already paid. Like okay thanks for telling everyone else their points and not me. They were rude and all that trouble for conditioner I could have gotten Anywhere else!
