Today I had the worst customer service experience with the Manager (Gregg) in the Car Car / Oil change station. We have been Walmart Plus customers for years. We always go to Saratoga Springs location but they did not have available times for today. We always have great experiences there. We took our 2 cars there to do oil changes in American Fork. We made 2 appointments 10:30 am and 11:00 am. We were there at 10:38 am approximately. The guy who received us (Joshua) told us we needed to wait around 2 hours and a half for the 10:30 am appointment because we were “late”. we showed him the Walmart email that says that you have 15 minutes grace. From the very first moment we could tell he did not want to help us with the situation even though we were still in the accepted time frame. He went to talk to the manager, and I tried to explain to him that we could wait if we needed to, but we just wanted to have that finished today. He did not even let me talk to him and was rude to me (you can check the cameras) He asked me in a inappropriate way to leave that area. I was not doing anything wrong. I am a professional person who speak more than 2 languages and the only thing I was trying to do was to get them to help me with that, because I also work with customer service and I understand it’s not easy to work on a Sunday or being totally booked for the day, but that does not give him the right to mistreat me, just because I’m Latino. I’m 100% sure that he won’t treat a white guy or American person the way he treated me. Even though I did not have the chance to say anything to him, I stepped back, and Joshua tried to justify Gregg’s attitude saying that they were extremely busy and I said I understand but that does not justify the way he treated me. I ask Joshua twice: why is he being rude to me? He did not know what to do or say. At the same time, The managers said from the inside, “they will still need to wait”, in a threatening way. We did not mind about waiting even though we had scheduled appointments. What we can not approve is the discrimination behavior against us. I asked Joshua to give me his Managers name. It’s Gregg. At that point we decided to leave. We think that they would something to our cars, just as a revenge. No one should be treated like garbage, regardless of where you come from. Now I will have to go somewhere else to do my oil change. That kind of “Managers” should be given an informal warning and also some orientation about how to work...
Read moreMe and my wife came in with our old battery after replacing it last week At this Walmart to get our money for the core fee. We were greeted by the lane closed signs and no cashiers once again. I noticed on the card machine it stated that if no cashiers were present to press a button to call over an employee. Not even 15 seconds after me pressing the button I hear a very loud irritated like voice say “READ THE SIGN” I look to my left and here comes this man walking towards me with a very irritated look on his face. Me being confused not knowing who this man is and thinking he’s a customer i asked him what sign?? He aggressively points and says “ THAT SIGN RIGHT THERE!!” the sign he was referring to was a tiny 4x4 sign taped to the back of the register monitor that essentially read if there’s no employees to go look in the shop for one lol I shouldn’t have to go search for an employee to be helped. He then says I don’t know why the h*ll that’s even there anymore it’s an outdated program (the call for assistance option on the card machine) Me still being under the impression it was a customer because he wasn’t wearing any sort of Walmart clothing I said oh ok out of pure confusion. He then opens the door to the auto center garage and calls out to an employee to come help us and I hear him say “ I DON’T KNOW THEY WERE JUST STANDING THERE WHEN I GOT HERE” another employee came in to help me instead of this guy who I now know does in-fact work there. Why he couldn’t help me I don’t know but with his customer service I’m glad he didn’t. He retreated to the office after the other employee came in to give me my $12 for my old battery core. I was just going to go about my day but after the pure disrespect and negativity I got from this man I went to customer service and described him to get his name. Turns out his name is greg and is the “coach” for the auto center. After the way me and my wife was treated today we will gladly drive the extra mile to do our shopping elsewhere. Hey Greg if you don’t like customers then don’t work in customer service!! Read moreThe photo center at this store is the absolute worst thing ever! I put together a honeymoon book, back in August and I sent it into Walmart photo center here, it said it would be ready the next day. Thinking it was a big project I thought “no way” but the next day I got a message saying it was ready. So I went into the store to pick it up and they said to me “oh sorry we don’t have the materials to make the book so it’s not ready” I just looked at them in shock and said “then why did I get an email” they told me “it’s automated” first of all that shouldn’t be something that is automated...just saying. But, I thought fine I’ll wait a few more days, 2 weeks later I still had not heard anything. I tried calling the photo center and nobody awnsered, I was a little fed up so I called customer service and asked to just be refunded my money, they said I would need to go into the store to do this, so I was like ok fine. So the next day I go into the store and ask them about it and after they looked for it for over 20 minutes they said to me “I don’t think you ordered it from us” ) so I showed them an email that showed that I purchased them online and sent it here over two weeks ago. The guy just didn’t even know what to say, so I said “can I just please be refunded” the guy then told me I had to call customer service to do that...to which I replied “customer service on the phone said I needed to come here, please give me my money back” this guy kept insisting I needed to call customer service, so I got upset, and said “give me back my money now” at this point his supervisor came over and looked at the situation and got me my money back finally, this took almost an hour at the store. That one star is for the supervisor that actually helped. Also as I was leaving I I saw the printed pages of my book on the back tableThe rest of the photo department is useless!
