TL:DR: You will have a fantastic experience shopping here. Not only fantastic customer service, but rather fantastic care. By far the most caring and knowledgeable experience I’ve had shopping in a long time.
Full Length Review: We have our 3rd baby arriving in November so decided to stop by Baby Cubby to mainly browse and see what they might have. Our goal was to learn more about what strollers were out there since it had been 5+ years since we had gotten our current stroller (Orbit Baby that we LOVE). From when we walked into the store, Burgandy, their associate came and chatted with us. She showed us some of the options and really listened to us in what we thought were were looking for. She really caught on to what was important to us and didn’t wast much time showing us options that made sense for our family. Not only did she show us products, she was teaching us along the way about the benefits and how they might suit our lifestyle. It didn’t feel like a person trying to sell us something, but more like when a friend is recommending a product they really love to you.
After about 40 min of questions and checking out gear, she also grabbed a few floor models and we took them out to our car to see how they might fit and see if it would be possible to fit 3 car seats in the middle row. No small feat. She showed me and discussed some options, while at the same time showing me some tips on how best take advantage of our existing car seats and the safety features the car had built in to better secure the car seats. Then she showed my wife as well after I walked in to watch the kids while they played in the store. Burgandy was fantastic, both my wife and I felt super informed, super confident in the options she showed us and super cared for.
After that, we went inside and discussed a few other car seat options for our 5 year old and how that might help us get 3 seats in a single row. She explained pros and cons, shared some ideas on what we should prioritize and was super honest in letting us know that we may not need all the items all at once as a way to save some money.
I don’t think we’ve had a better customer experience shopping at any other store before. The day before we were at Nordstrom’s looking at the same stroller and there is no way anyone there spent or would’ve spent the time and shared the details that Burgandy shared with us. Remember, when we arrived we told her we weren’t having the baby until NOVEMBER and yet she still spent the time with us, taught us and helped us to identify what we will be getting for our kids. She didn’t just move on and ignore us b/c we were there to “look”. She definitely turned us into customers and we can’t wait to buy all of our new gear from the Baby Cubby.
If you want to just buy some baby gear, go ahead and get it at any of the big box stores. But if you want to get the RIGHT baby gear for YOUR situation, then this is the place to go. You’ll get a personalized, catered shopping experience, all of your questions answered and tons of confidence that you got the best stuff for your kids. Oh and they price match, so you don’t even have to pay more for this awesome service.

Read moreUPDATED REVIEW: I've upgraded my one star to 3 stars. Customer service got in touch with me after my review and they sent me the missing piece free of charge and free shipping. I just got it today and love it. I would give 4 stars if it hadn't taken me giving a bad review for them to fix the problem instead of doing it the first time I called. But I will say that all the times I experienced customer service and the personnel in the store they were very nice.
PREVIOUS ONE STAR REVIEW: WISH I COULD GIVE LESS! I bought a second seat attachment for my stroller on their yearly sale. It was even more discounted because it was a returned item. The sticker on the box said is was returned because the person who bought it bought the wrong brand. THAT'S IT! Get home and open the box to find that it's missing the adapters to connect it to the stroller. It says RIGHT ON THE BOX that it is supposed to have the adapters included. Nowhere on the box does it say that the pieces are MISSING. It would've been one thing if it was listed and I didn't see it. That would be my fault. But they didn't! I call and they say that because of the sale that there were probably multiple boxes also unlabeled stating missing out broken pieces, but because they were so busy not all got labeled. WHAT?! And they will not give me the missing pieces! THEY FAILED TO LABLE OR EVEN CHECK FOR MISSING PIECES! AND SOMEHOW IT'S MY FAULT! They said the ONLY thing they could do is give me 10% off. TEN PERCENT FOR THEIR MISTAKE! They made it sound like they were doing me a favor by giving me that! They give 10% off when you sign up! Still can't believe they sold me something with missing pieces and they are literally doing NOTHING about it. They made it sound like it was all my fault. Read moreMy husband and I are expecting our first and picked this store to "play with" all of the items we would need--we don't have much experience with kids or kid stuff and we weren't ready to purchase much, but we wanted to be able to touch everything and ask questions, etc. This was the PERFECT first stop, and probably the only baby store we will need to visit! They had all of the items we wanted to see and touch, including all of the top strollers and carseats.
Sarah helped us--she has dark hair and she's suuuper nice! I swear she spent a couple of hours with us, walking us though the endless aspects of different strollers, sharing personal experiences, and even encouraging us to try out the different mechanisms with a weighted baby doll named Charley! She patiently taught us how to strap him into our top pick carseat, and let us try him in all the different strollers we were interested in. We took our top choices out to the "stroller course" for a quick spin, which helped us narrow it down to our top choice, which was able to smoothly navigate the bumps and curves with ease. :) She even helped us save some money by pointing out that a certain color of our favorite carseat was on sale that day--score!!
Although we picked up the carseat on sale, we held off on purchasing a stroller that day as planned, and she and the other staff member onsite were not pushy in the slightest. They answered all of our questions in detail and were incredibly helpful for the entire time we were in the store. We will definitely be back for more of our baby needs as our due date...
