Target — Local services in Ammon

The customer service was so nice! It never seems to be that crowded and I was able to get in and out with what I needed in less than 10 minutes this last time. (While trying to help a three-year-old decide which green pen she liked the best.) The checkout girl was super nice and spotted us off the bat. She greeted us warmly and guided us to where we would be checking out without being bossy. She made my toddler laugh and was easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable asking to go without a bag (which is often a weird request and treated as an inconvenience). It's always well stocked and the customer service is friendly, but not in my face. The clothing selection has kind of been meh, but overall it's a good place to shop. HEADS UP: You can only turn right when exiting the parking lot, unless you take the east side and go back behind the building onto 25th South. From there you can go whichever direction you need and you get a protected turn at the light. (It is a one way back...

Well, it's a Target store, so you get all good and bad that comes from that. But despite some of the things that Target does that annoy the heck out of me (like ALWAYS having the wrong product information on their website, carrying obscure brands nobody wants, and always running out of stuff), this particular Target location has some really impressive customer service. There's a lot of younger kids that work here, but unlike other stores that hire young kids, this Target must have a manager or an HR person who trains them right, because every time I go in here I am always impressed at how helpful, friendly, and professional the kids in here act. I've had kids go look for items in the back without even having to ask them, they just seem really determined to get me what I am looking for, even if it's not out on the shelves yet. A few negatives... This store is currently under construction to rearrange things. So sometimes items aren't where you expect them. This particular location did have an incident about the whole gender issue with photos in the changing room. And finally, the parking lot is really hard to get out of. The road in front of it is quite busy. I don't know why there hasn't been a light put in to get into this lot, but there hasn't been, so you cannot turn to the left, you have to drive around the whole building.

Some benefits... I found the staff very helpful. I wanted to buy a vacuum and couldn't find the particular advertised one, a team member went and located it. I did my baby registry here and that went well. They even give you a coupon when you get close to your due date. There are many movies marked down for a very low price...
