i ordered icecream on doordash around 9 pm because i was craving icecream, but i live about 20 minutes away and did not want to drive. i ordered cake batter (yellowish white) with one single brownie. tell me why, when i got my order, i thought they used chocolate icecream instead of cake batter. they beat the brownie into the white ice cream so hard that there was NO white pieces and i had NO chunks of brownie, only tiny fragments. idk who was working on july 2nd around 9 pm, but i was very upset. and on top of that, the icecream was UPSIDE DOWN in the bag and leaked into the bag. it was hell to open and attempt to eat my now chocolate icecream (i dont like chocolate ice cream) i know that it wasnt my dasher who did this because the spoon was untouched. whoever did this to my ice cream, i hope you go to anger managment classes to resolve whatever made you beat my poor icecream into a chocolately sad pulp and that you hopefully get reprimanded (not written up) by your manager. i put 3 stars because i usually drive home happy with my NOT BEATEN icecream and im usually given good customer service. and i know it wasnt busy because whatever crimescene you created, was thought out and took pricision and time to do. i hope your freezer counter thingy is doing well, considering icecream and brownies are soft and well... the counter probably took the blunt force of it. B T DUBBS I SPENT 18 DOLLARS ON THIS INCLUDING TIP FOR A LIKE IT SIZE (which is typically only 7 dollars compared to the extra 11 i spent) so gracias for wasting my money since i do not like chocolate ice cream and it DID NOT taste like...
Read moreWent in today to buy a birthday cake for my son (peanut butter playground). First, there was no official label on the cake telling what it was- it was a yellow post-it note (super professional). Second, there was only one employee working the counter. There was another customer in front of me, who I thought the employee was helping, but after waiting 10 minutes- the employee asked if she could help the customer in front of me! This employee was making an order for someone who wasn’t there and she has two customers in front of her who she hasn’t even helped yet! Remember, I just need to buy the cake in my hand. After waiting another 10 minutes for the employee to make the order of the other customer in front of me, a door dash guy walks in and she immediately helps him. Finally, my turn. As I was about to pay, I noticed that there was an expiration date of 9/16 on the cake (one week ago)! I asked the employee and she said that was probably when the cake was made. I asked if she could go check. She did and came back and said yes, it was expired. She then asked, “Do you still want to buy it?” An expired cake?! Are you serious?! Of course, they didn’t have another one. She said she can have one for me on Monday (two days from now). Ugh. After waisting 20 minutes of my life, with no cake, I was pretty pissed. Don’t buy cakes from here- or at least check the dates to make sure they’re...
Read moreMy husband and I just stopped in tonight as we do often. Most of the time, the service is great and the employees are kind despite extremely busy situations but today we were thrown for a bit of a loop. We walked in to the owner (I'm assuming) belittling three teenage employees. We were not greeted as he continued to talk down to these kids. Not only in front of us but several seated tables. I have nothing against managing employees or giving constructive criticism. But that was not the case and these kids were visibly upset. And although they still provided a great service even when being hollered at from the back to smile, it was evident that the owner had no interest in setting a good example nor talking to these kids and helping to mold them into excellent hard working employees that value their job. I personally would have walked out on the job had an employer ever spoke to me that way. They will most likely spend the rest of the evening upset wating to go home and not wanting to return. I hope better for the future and hope that the owner takes this into consideration moving forward. Employee turn over decreases significantly when people actually enjoy their job. Sorry to say but we probably won't return if that's the way the employees...
