I got a Google notification that I had given a 5 star review on this business. I did not give a review at all, but now I'm wondering if the salesman used my phone to post a 5-star review during the purchase and transfer process?
If I had posted a review, I would have said I do not recommend this business. I went in to purchase a Samsung S22+. They did not have that in stock, so I went with the Samsung Ultra instead. That phone was too heavy and bulky for me, so I returned it the next day. A few hours later I went to the Verizon store in Burlington since they were holding the S22+ for me there. They said they could not add the new phone to my account because the Ultra had not been removed.
I went back to TCC in Anacortes and the salesman who sold the phone to me said he has nothing to do with that. I need to call customer service. I called Verizon customer service, got a great agent and she said the Ultra was still on my account because there was no record of the return. TCC had not processed the return properly. I'm still on hold with Verizon while they are contacting TCC to get them to process the return correctly.

Read moreI came into the Anacortes store months ago needing solutions for my family plan and phones, and was pleasantly surprised when Kevin sat with me for over an hour to comb through my plan, find money savers, activate features that hadn't been previously activated, and activated an old flip-phone for my eldest son. (I did not get this phone from this location even.) The entire time he knew he wasn't making a sale with me, (I was very up front) and didn't try to push me. This week I broke my own phone. After a recent bad experience in the Burlington store (I was out running to Costco and made the mistake of thinking all locations would want to be helpful), I decided to come back and stick to Kevin and our local shop. He has yet again set me in the right direction, and offered further solutions to help me. Stalk his Facebook if you'd like (creepy much?) I'm not on this friends list. I simply really appreciate great customer service. We will be upgrading phones again soon, and you can bet who I'll be coming back to see the great folks right here in the local Anacortes store. Read moreCrappy customer service! Went here to upgrade my service, including finally ditching my dumb phone to a smart phone. She upgraded the account... And then took a phone call. Apparently the person on the other end of the phone needed more help, because she tried to encourage me to be on my way. But I still needed a SIM card for my new smartphone (since my previous dumb phone had none). Not only did she want to charge me $10 for the SIM card, but she wanted to charge $10 to install it. Um, no. Meanwhile, she's still on the phone with another customer while her supervisor is sitting at his desk doing nothing. I'm sorry, but this all equals crappy customer service in my book.
