This place is terrible. Stood at counter 10 minutes waiting to order coffee. Two servers said they would help in a second but never did. Tables are dirty with crumbs and not wiped off. Floor is sticky. Their quote of the day is “I’ll be with you in a minute.” NOT.
I went to the Starbucks Contact Us page as the store owner describes in his note below and after wasting 5 minutes writing him, the website wouldn't accept feedback because their "captcha" key process wasn't working. So what I wrote was,
I brought several friends in for coffee on Thursday. A couple were already there with their coffees. I went up to counter to order coffee. No line. Yea. But no one ever took my order or showed me and relevant service. First a barista told me, "I'll be right with you." But no he was too busy with window customers. He said it again and a 3rd time. By now 5 minutes had passed. Then he said, "oh she will take care of you shortly" and pointed to another female barista that walked by. There were several employees in but they all seemed to be working the drive-thru window. By now there was a line forming behind me. She came over and said, "one minute I'll be right with you." But never did. By now its been 10 minutes. She came by a few more times always hurrying, always with an excuse. After 15 minutes she said, "Just one more minute" but never returned to take a coffee request. There were 5 people in line behind. I got fed up and left. I went to the table where my friends were and told them I couldn't get a coffee and asked them how they bot theirs. My friend said, "oh, I brought my own." He already knew this Starbucks had terrible service. Your employee service culture is terrible. I haven't shopped at Starbucks since and won't until you become customer focused. Terrible way to grow customers. ...
Read moreWent in to get two cold drinks and two sandwiches for myself and my son. Order the sandwiches order the drinks paid for them went and sat down for a couple minutes waiting for the order to get done. This is when the barista walks over and literally takes my sandwich and tells me he can't sell to me because he sold it to somebody else. I had already paid and I'm just waiting for it to go through the oven. He said yes sorry he sold it to somebody in line so I can't have it. I told him that was super lame I took it out of the self serve refrigerator myself and already paid for it. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked off. They gave me a refund to my card grudgingly. Then when the partial lunch was done and I was about to walk out he walked over and try to give me a $4 gift card for the $8 sandwich just to add insult to injury. Bugs that I had to go to a whole different store just to buy one sandwich. Turns out that knucklehead was the supervisor. When was the last time any of you had someone from Starbucks come over and take your food away? I go there all the time and usually it's at least mediocre but today that guy had his head way up. How can he possibly be the supervisor if he can't even do his own job? Like I said I go there all the time and I like it but that guy was the worst Starbucks employee I've ever come across. I think Dr Starbucks would be...
Read moreLet's just say, moving quickly isn't in the staff's repertoire. And if you make a mobile order, you can expect the coffee to arrive at least 15 minutes before your food--if they get around to your order it at all. I've been told after I've waited 20 minutes that they are out of a food item on my mobile order, while watching them serve it several to folks at the walk up or drive through. And once my food order came frozen (they hadn't bothered to heat it).
Servers inside regularly turn their backs on customers and refuse to look at them, even when it isn't busy. They will sweep floors, start another pot of coffee, or clean bathrooms when a rush comes, instead of helping at the counter. Any good review you see is a "daily" or someone that got lucky enough to be there when a supervisor was around, because after years of coming here, the failure to provide good service has only worsened.
So when another reviewer said this is the worst Starbucks he'd ever been to, I concur, and I've been to them on 4 continents. At no other Starbucks is the service this terrible (I've seen bad before, but this is the worst and consistently so). And that customer apathy is 100% the problem, since everything else is standardized.
Try the local Moka Joes. It's also slow, but at least no one will turn their back on you and pretend you...
