I am thrilled to share my excellent review of The Market at Anacortes, a fantastic grocery store located in the heart of Anacortes, Washington. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the store's cleanliness, organization, and the wide selection of high-quality products available.
The first thing I noticed upon entering The Market at Anacortes was how immaculately clean and well-organized the store was. The aisles were easy to navigate, with clear signage and well-stocked shelves that made it a breeze to find everything I needed. The store was also very spacious, making it easy to move around even during peak hours.
The Market at Anacortes offers a fantastic selection of fresh produce, which was of the highest quality. The fruits and vegetables were beautifully displayed and looked incredibly fresh. I was impressed by the variety of items available, and it was clear that the store takes great care in sourcing the best produce for its customers.
In addition to fresh produce, The Market at Anacortes also offers an impressive selection of bulk buying options, including dried lentils, beans, dried fruits, and grains of all types. This is an excellent feature for those looking to buy in bulk or those who prefer to reduce their packaging waste. The bulk section was well-stocked, and the prices were very reasonable. There are also re-fillable soaps, lotions, shampoo, conditioner, etc. available. Great for environmentally conscious buyers.
Overall, if you're looking for a grocery store while in Anacortes, The Market at Anacortes is definitely the place to go. With its clean and organized layout, fresh and high-quality produce, florals, and impressive selection of bulk buying options, it's a must-visit for any shopper. The store's commitment to quality and sustainability makes it stand out from other grocery stores, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch...
Read moreThe Market in Anacortes prides itself on local products, as it should! I shop here to find specialty items not found anywhere else in town. A large bulk foods section, a renovated wine area, locally brewed beers and ciders. Plus be able to dine in the store, and short checkout lines. However, on Friday I went in the store and noticed their floral department had changed the helium cylinder vendor from Central Welding to Airgas. What you should know is Central Welding Supply is a family owned and operated company that is based in Western Washington for over 40 years. It has 250+ employees, with 20 stores from Bellingham to Vancouver. What you may not know is that Airgas is owned and operated by Air Liquide - an international corporation headquartered in France. Now what I am NOT saying is don’t shop at The Market! What I AM saying is just keep in mind that if you buy helium filled balloons here you are not supporting the...
Read moreThe woman working at the Coffee shop in Anacortes this morning, August 10, is just not good at her job. Extra hot coffee order. Lukewarm room temperature. Asked for a buttered bagel. Receive a toasted bagel and a brick of cold butter. I asked if she could please butter my bagel. And explain I am physically incapable of doing it due to surgery. I've had surgery and can't use one hand at all. She butters one side with about there tablespoons of butter, wraps it up with the invited half and hands it back. Bagel barely toasted, so I'm sitting here with one trying trying to scrape piles of butter of the one side into the other. Which I can't do with one hand. And the butter is not melting because it wasn't well toasted or heated to begin with. Hope you read this, because it she's working the next time, I'm going somewhere else. Your other woman who had been working this week is excellent this one...
