I just stumbled upon this darling Turkish coffee house today, with amazing treats, beautiful handmade mermaid dolls and amazing rugs, the dolls and rugs are hand knotted, the Turkish rugs are 100% wool and silk, all handmade with love. Leo's coffee was out of this world, it holds a special flavor unlike common coffee, there's a flavor of cardamon in it. Turkish coffee is by far some of the most delicious you'll ever taste and enjoy in your life. This authentic caffe has only been here in Anacortes for 5 days, and I promise you it's here to stay. Take it from me, the owner Leo is as darling as his Cafe, he's poured his heart into this place and works so hard, now he needs the community to come support his beautiful contribution to Anacortes. By the way my name is Turkish "Leh'arra" it means little Shining Light, it comes to a number nine💚 Cappuccino, espresso, lattes, mochas, specialty teas, panini sandwiches, soups, so many varieties of imported baklava, his own branded Turkish coffee and caffeine free pistacia. Leo works everyday 18 hours a day so please drop in and welcome him. The cafe is open 6:30 to 6:30 cant wait to...
Read moreI stopped at the Corner Cafe on a Saturday morning in August. I absolutely love this location!! It's so spacious and I can do some shopping at the Corner Market it's attached to; after sitting down to enjoy my hot coffee in a GLASS mug. The treats in the case are of amazing quality and I found myself favoring the sweet saffron Turkish delight and walnut baklava the most!! A large portion of goods are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free also, so it's a perfect stop for anyone with a restrictive diet. And it taste amazing!! I left around lunch and decided to grab a Togo cup of the Mediterranean red lentil soup and it was an absolutely perfect decision for my walk around the marina! It's warm hardy ingredients were perfect as I took in the scenery and salty fresh air! Blended to perfection with, what I'd call, a dash of love! Nothing felt "too heavy" on my walk and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of ingredients and service i received from Zaza's cafe!!
I will be back for my treats, coffee, and Zaza's wonderful pistachio...
Read moreI am really glad I stopped here when I was looking for a local coffee joint! Its alllmost family ran, which makes the service fantastic. I really enjoyed chatting with the barista (whose name I didn’t catch sadly! But her sister and I apparently share a name… so the other one lol). I had the black tea for a little caffeine pick me up and love that comes in a pot and a beautiful tea cup. It came with a strainer and some sugar and an alt sugar option on a pretty silver tray. The lovely barista also gave me a taste of their eucalyptus tea which is SO GOOD. she said it’s a good one for when you’re a bit under the weather and I can see why. It smells different than it tastes- smells a bit menthol-y but doesn’t taste that way and is a bit sweeter. I’m glad she gave me a taste of it.
Anyway I will be back next time I’m around these parts. Next time I’m going to try one of the many flavors of baklava! There’s a fig and walnut one...
