I'm happy to elaborate further:
Poor Organization and Stocking: Upon entering the store, it was immediately evident that there were significant issues with organization and stocking. Many shelves were either completely empty or poorly restocked, making it difficult to find the items I needed. It felt like a scavenger hunt just to locate basic household essentials. This lack of attention to stocking not only wasted my time but also left a negative impression of the store's management.
Inadequate Staffing and Checkout Experience: One of the most frustrating aspects of my visit was the checkout experience. Despite the store being moderately busy, there were only two cashiers available, leading to long lines and extended wait times. It was baffling to see so few staff members manning the registers during peak hours. To make matters worse, the self-checkout machines were either out of service or malfunctioning, further exacerbating the problem.
Unhelpful and Disinterested Staff: Throughout my visit, I attempted to seek assistance from several staff members, but I was met with indifference and disinterest. It seemed as though they were more preoccupied with their own tasks than assisting customers. When I finally managed to grab the attention of a staff member, their responses were curt and unhelpful, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
Hygiene and Cleanliness Concerns: In addition to the lack of organization and poor staffing, I also noticed several hygiene and cleanliness issues throughout the store. The floors appeared dirty and unkempt, with visible debris and spills in various aisles. Furthermore, I observed expired products still being displayed on shelves, which raised serious concerns about the store's commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions and ensuring the quality of its merchandise.
Overall Disappointment and Decision to Shop Elsewhere: My experience at Walgreens was thoroughly disappointing
TLDR THE DONUTS WERE MOLDY WHAT THE ACTUAL...
Read moreIf youâre getting flu shots and have children DO NOT GO while the âpharmacy managerâ Tim is working. The rest of the staff was great but while trying to get my children their shots Tim couldnât handle even one moment of crying. He left the first time saying he needed a moment. I understood. Then left us in the room for way too long. He then came back and tried to make us leave. Asking why we donât we try the pediatrician. (they sent us to Walgreens!!) He tried to gather himself together to try one more time and while doing so he tried to guilt my children and I by saying âThere are other people here waiting for their shots.â he said âI canât handle this.â , âThis is too muchâ , âsorry, I canât do this.â We left with only myself having gotten the flu shot. And everyone in tears. Iâve never felt so humiliated in my 6 years of parenting so far. Children cry when getting shots. You hold them, get it done and give out lollipops. Not my first rodeo giving shots to all three of my kids. For a man who has been at Walgreens for so long I would think if he couldnât handle children that he would have someone who could...
Read moreThe pharmacy may be understaffed and overwhelmed (no idea if that's the case), but don't pull the game of "we didn't get the faxed prescription", send my parents on a wild goose chase back and forth and have to provide PROOF of the faxed prescription to actually get them to do their job. And you, Mr. Pharmacist on staff tonight, get your attitude adjusted when the fault lies with your department. You want to be curt and send my parents home AGAIN, stating it would take an entire hour to fill when my mom's BP is through the roof? You're lucky I'm 2,000 miles away until summer because I'd have nothing to lose by coming in and letting you hear it in person. I have a job in the medical billing where I NEVER am allowed to be rude. In fact I take escalated calls every day from angry people. And what do I do? I de-escalate the calls and I act professional. Get it together Walgreens! Be professional and hope you don't have to de-escalate a visit from me, in person, giving you the facts of your store incompetence and lack of professionalism....
