Watermark Book Company — Local services in Anacortes

Great independent bookstore. Recently came under new ownership so a young, fresh vibe is apparent. Same fantastic selection as always. They have a book club and host author events and have chocolate too. I appreciate the staff favorites section and their rotating seasonal displays where I have discovered books I would not have run across otherwise.... Which is why we should all be shopping in brick and mortar bookstores - that is the best way to stumble across amazing books you wouldn't...

We were visiting from out of town and wandered in. They have a little bit of everything, a bit of an eclectic selection, but don't seem to go deep. I like military history and was at a loss to see anything at all. They do offer a number of staff picks for all their team members, which is nice. We asked for a little help in picking out a book for one of our granddaughters and he was very knowledgeable and helped us significantly with our selections. Definitely worth...

Absolutely wonderful store and staff. I recently contacted Watermark Book Company asking if they could send me some books. I wanted to make sure I was supporting a local business, but I also wanted to find some great new reads while stuck at home. The owner called me almost immediately to discuss books and hand-selected six new books (pictured). I am so impressed with the selection and cannot wait for more recommendations....
