I’ve had a few rings resized here. I found them to be quick and reasonably priced. I dropped off an antique ring for resizing today and when I got it back it seemed smaller than it should’ve but I paid and just left. On the way home I kept thinking the stone looked dark and bigger. I was worried they damaged the setting on my antique ring but I was unprepared for what I discovered when I got home. First off it’s a full half size smaller than it should be. When I examined it with my jewelers loop I discovered they had destroyed the setting and glued a completely different stone in place of the one it had. The worst part is they didn’t even tell me. They never said a word. If you have a special piece that is irreplaceable do not take it to this butcher.

Came in Saturday evening, Dec. 17, 2022 to get a ring re-sized down. It was a size 7. The man brought the ring sizer and shoved one of them on my finger and asked me how it felt. Mind you, I don't even wear rings so I have no idea. I thought it felt fine. He should've told me that I needed to make sure it couldn't twist around and around. He should've tried another size smaller just to be sure. He did not. I went back today, Dec. 18, 2022 to pick it up. The woman (I assume the man's wife) told me, after I asked her, that the new size is a 6.5. It's still too big! She said "Is it cold outside?" She then told me that if it's cold outside it can cause my finger to shrink. So my fiance paid to get the ring re-sized and it still...

If you need a jewelry repair, I suggest you go somewhere else. I took my husband's gold chain to Jeweler's Touch to be repaired, and it did not last two hours before it broke again in the same spot. I returned to the store and the male owner offered to repair it for $25 - I had just paid $35 for the first repair that did not last. He and the female owner both gave different reasons for why they did not have to make it right - they both claimed it broke in a different way and so they were not liable.
