What a terrific store! Just passing through this area on the interstate (85) and stopped for a bite to eat at one of the fast food restaurants at exit 111.. Saw the sign for the Bush Hill Trading Post and went in. I love shopping for antiques and collectibles, and this place has terrific dealers with a lot of good selection. I understand that the store just had its grand opening, and it is nearly full of quality vendors with interesting things at affordable prices. In the large room to the right of the entrance, one of the dealers has a big mix of things -- vintage jewelry, glassware and other items, another dealer has a ton of advertising collectibles, and another dealer has pottery. There lots of other rooms full of vintage and antique items, there is a huge area that has larger furniture in it, and another large area that has primitive and country cottage items.

As you come in the front door, there is an old timey general store area that has preserves, country ham, candy, etc. and there is even an ice cream parlor! I understand that there is a wine room coming too that will carry a variety of North Carolina winery products.

This is a great place for weary road warriors to stop and enjoy themselves for a break from driving. There were a lot of locals in the store when I was there, and they were all so nice! Great place to find something rare and unique. Check out The Star Wars Store, whether you're looking for vintage or new, there's some of everything in-between, too. NC Authentic Goods has products all made in North Carolina. My mom is a fan of the hand soaps and lotions. The whole store is clean and organized and the items are displayed so they are easy to see. I drove more than an hour to get here for the Star Wars store. That place is like the Star Wars promised land for NC! As in the pictures, they have hundreds of figures, movies, games, and a plethora of other Star Wars merch.
