This was my 3rd time going to Hibachi Jr. Express.I was craving Japanese so I knew what I wanted. However I was interrupted a few times while placing the order. That's probably the reason I got the dark meat this time instead of what I requested.The waitress brought my food to table today, which was dark chicken.I said this is not what I asked for and she said you didn't say which meat. Which was not true and besides that the portion was very small. I had a about 5 to 6 M&M size pieces of steak & shrimp. Several pieces of dark meat chicken that didn't taste fresh. The zucchini & onions tasted like they were old. Also I had no broccoli in it like the menu stated. I shared with the waitress and a lady who said her name was Sofia that I didn't ask for that and I would never come back. I threw the chicken and a lot of the food in the trash. They did not try to make it right and was very nonchalant about...

My grandson and I ate here today. He said it was the absolute best hibachi food he had ever eaten… And he has eaten hibachi food more places than I can count. And I fully concur!!! Nothing is drowned in cheap sauces to give it flavor. It is completely the opposite. The quality of the ingredients shine through with each bite. The portions were large, and the price was more than fair and cheaper than most places we have eaten. Some of the most friendly owners and staff I’ve ever met anywhere!! This was also one of the most clean places you will find. Looking into the kitchen, the floors were immaculate, as were the walls, tables and chairs out front. This was horrible! The food had no taste and was inedible!! I ordered chicken hibachi with spring rolls and teriyaki chicken wings. I wanted to try a little bit of everything since this was my first time here. Nevertheless, when I opened the tray, the rice was in the largest section and the chicken was in two smaller sections. There were strings on the chicken. I could not eat it. Why were there strings on the chicken 🍗 almost like feathers ? I’m use to the rice, chicken and vegetables mixed together. This was not the case. The vegetables were even horrible. Not enough vegetables either. The wings were not seasoned. It just was tossed in the sauce. Salt people…hello! The spring rolls were ok. I will never eat here again! What a total waste...
