This is my favorite Taqueria, hands down. I found this stop years ago when I worked in Arlington. I’m no longer close but I drive way out of my way about once a month when It’s time to feed my taco cravings. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been delicious, authentic and packed with flavor. I don’t however steer far away from my two favorite orders. The Barbacoa tacos are off the charts! All the tacos are great but the Barbacoa is something special. Packed and dripping with flavor. If your lean game isn’t up to par then don’t wear a white shirt or everyone will know you ate well that day. Item #2 I travel so far for is the steak and cheese torta. Wow! Carne asada wrapped in cheese grilled on the flat top amplifies the flavor and texture game, with all the other ingredients added in your in for a treat! All the tortas are delish but the steak and cheese is special. As American as it sounds I promise that you’ve had no steak and cheese like this! Best tortas around! Always nice service, always quick to make my order. I never have to feed the parking meter because they’re so fast all need is to use the free fifteen minutes parking offers. Busy hours can be difficult to find street parking but there’s a big pay to park lot behind the restaurant. The possibility of difficult parking is well worth it! Not a lot of seating in this small, charming shop but they do offer some outside seating and only one time I’ve had to take my food to go. I met the owner years ago and he was really nice and seems like he found a good recipe for success. I believe he has a couple other locations and I imagine they’re just as impressive as the Arlington location. Don’t wait for Tuesday, go get your...
Read moreGiving one star because after realizing who touched my food and how it was touched and contaminated I decided to stick it in the trash , it was approx 12$ I'd rather lose the money than my health and well being rather than argue with a bunch of kids who speak no English. Please tell your employees to wash their hands arms after they SPIT (arms because he wiped his wet spit face on his arm) on the sidewalk right outside their place of employment which happened to be an establishment serving food, and when your employees are smoking and NOT WASHING THEIR HANDS right before they prep our food , is absolutely disgusting. Not a single one of these people speak English so it was not worth it to try and explain to them what we just witnessed. He smoked and went right back to making the food orders etc... never saw him or the others wash their hands , utterly disgusting. Stay away from this place. it's extremely unsanitary . Will never be going back there again. Grateful that I noticed the workers right outside the restaurant in their uniform smoking and then proceeded to watch him walk back in and act like nothing happened no attempt to wash hands or sanitize, and the spitting on the sidewalk right outside the restaurant was somehow grosser than the actual smoking. Stay AWAY from this joint, things like this tell you how this place is...
Read moreLa Victoria Taqueria is the kind of place you try once and immediately add to your regular rotation. The food is consistently fresh, fast, and packed with flavor — everything from the tacos to the burritos tastes like it was made with care, not just assembly-line speed. The portions are generous, prices are fair, and the salsa bar always hits the spot.
The atmosphere is clean and casual, with a friendly, upbeat staff who seem to actually enjoy what they do. You can tell it’s a locally run spot that takes pride in its food — no gimmicks, just quality. Whether you dine in or take out, the service is quick and reliable.
Their tacos are excellent (try the carnitas or al pastor), burritos are loaded but not soggy, and the guac is perfectly balanced — not over-salted like at so many chains. It’s also great that they offer vegetarian options without treating them like an afterthought.
Located right in Arlington Center, it’s easy to park nearby and grab a quick meal or sit down for a casual dinner. Everything about this place feels welcoming — from the staff to the simple, well-kept dining area.
If you’re craving Mexican food that’s fast but actually good, La Victoria is the real deal. You’ll come for the tacos, stay for the vibe, and probably start making excuses to “swing by” more often than you...
