I walked into the fitting rooms behind another woman, she walked into one on the right so I walked in to another open room on the left. Some clothes were crumpled up on the bench, so I assumed whoever was in there before had not wanted those clothes they tried on and left them in the room (as people do in MANY stores). Within a few minutes of me starting to try on a dress, there's a knock on my door and an EXTREMELY rude voice starts yelling at me from the other side of the door. Below is the encounter:
Man: EXCUSE me?! Me: Yes? Man: You cannot just TAKE someone else's fitting room. Me: Oh, sorry I didn't know someone was using this. Man: Aren't there CLOTHES in there?? Me: Yes, but I thought those were clothes someone didn't want and left here. Man: They aren't. This is someone else's room so you need to GET OUT.
At this point I was already putting my clothes back on to move, so I didn't understand why he was still there, berating me.
Me: Okay, can I at least get dressed first? (this is when my tone changes and I start to be annoyed by his tone) Man: Well yeah, but I'm just letting you know you can't just walk in to another person's room! Me: Okay, I understand - Man: Don't get mad at ME because YOU took someone's room! This lady is REALLY mad that you TOOK her room! Me: Okay, I'm sorry I didn't know - Man: AND you can't just WALK IN to the rooms you need to ASK US and we need to LET YOU IN! Me: Okay, the person in front of me did so I didn't know I thought that's how it was here and - Man: That's DOESN'T matter! You can't just go in we need to LET YOU in! Me: Okay! I'm sorry!
He then finally walked away and I heard him, not far away, talking to other people saying "Yeah she was getting SO mad and being SO rude to me, like it's not MY fault you took someone's room you can't just DO that!"
A few minutes later when I leave, there is no one nearby waiting for a room. The only people in the store are a group of young women talking in a corner. There's one man in the whole store behind the counter with one or two other people.
I tell this long story to say I have NEVER been treated this way in my life. I have purchased multiple items of clothing from Windsor stores, walked in to fitting rooms at Windsor stores in Tyson's Corner and back home in California, never been told that wasn't allowed, and yet this employees rudeness, berating, and interrupting me so I can't even speak and defend myself, was unbelievable. This was the WORST experience I have ever had when I was being completely apologetic and not arguing whatsoever. To treat me like that when I am already doing as you've asked, to continue to stand outside and YELL at me, a customer, and then walk away and TALK ABOUT ME to others in the store? Absolutely uncalled for. I wish I had caught his name but, frankly, I ran out crying and noticed only one man in the whole store who glared at me as I left.
All this over a fitting room, as if people maliciously go around stealing dressing rooms from others. To approach me with "you can't just TAKE someone's room" rather than assuming I just made a mistake and offering to help me find another one. This employee should be fired and I will never be returning...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just moved into the area not too long ago and came in this store to revamp my wardrobe as a newly 30 year old woman! I wonāt lie though, walking into this store was a bit intimidating as all the clothes seemed like they were for younger adults but one of the managers Jasmin came in and saved the day. Not only did she help me find a couple of basic staples, but she even went the extra mile and helped me dress for a Nationals game (and first date!). She was so attentive and while helping me had the chance to help other customers as well as her co-workers! At times it felt like she was one of my girlfriends the way the conversation was so normal girl to girl. At the end when she was ringing me up I almost started crying because I went into this store defeated and she was able to help me find a new style that didnāt give off pretending to be younger than I amš . Shout out to Jasmin and the wonderful team of ladies that was working that day! I will be returning for my summer wardrobe!!š§”
If anyone would need recommendations of who to see when visiting this location all of the ladies are wonderful, but Jasmin will be my go to! Not only does she dress authentically, when she was styling outfits she made sure it was unique and even added her own flair. She definitely made this my go to store when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe selections are AWESOME! Crop tops galore, I'm talking leather, I'm talking sequin, I'm talking cute skirt/dress-overalls. All the things I want but are never on deck in other stores and they actually seem well-made and come in many sizes. Dustin the manager is a great charming guy. He holds it down by himself yet is still Attentive to everyone.
And specifically for HALLOWEEN -GO HERE- For your mermaid crown & bra , angel wings, raven wings! Cat-ears, all of it! I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's not the most budget friendly store for everyone, (but this is THE MALL. Literally everything in every store is overpriced to be fair lol). And Windsor deserves 5 stars despite that because their sales are AMAZING. Shoes, whole dresses, and rompers for $7! Items that would normally be $20-$45.
When I pick up my $7 heels I'm going to upgrade this review to 5stars if they fit my arch and don't fall apart...
