JM Kitchen & Bath Design — Local services in Arvada

I needed to finish my basement to add some extra living space, but wasn't quite ready to commit to a full remodel since my long-term plan is to turn it into a rental unit. In the meantime, I had to come up with a short-term laundry solution.

I’d talked to a few other designers before Adrienne, but honestly, I felt like my project was being dismissed because it was smaller-scale (both in size and budget). That’s when I met Adrienne, and right away I felt comfortable and like my project was being taken seriously. She’s such a warm and down-to-earth person, and I truly appreciated how she respected my budget and goals.

Adrienne helped me find a practical solution to finish my basement now, but also made sure it would leave room for future upgrades when I’m ready to turn it into a rental unit. I don’t know if it’s common for designers to have a construction background, but Adrienne’s knowledge really impressed me. She was able to come up with creative solutions that fit my budget, met building codes, and wouldn’t interfere with the bigger vision down the line.

While working with Adrienne, she also showed me some of her portfolio, including big kitchen and bathroom projects that were way more complex than what I needed. So, if you’re looking for someone who can handle both small and large projects, I’d definitely recommend her.

When it was time to remodel our kitchen we didn't know where to start but luckily we found JM Kitchen & Bath in Arvada. The first time we visited their showroom we were very impressed with all of the kitchen models they had. Our designer was Colbea Chamberlain and she was so great to work with! Colbea came out to our home to view our current kitchen. While she was there she took measurements and pictures but more importantly she really took the time to get to know us so that she could get a good idea of what we were looking for in our new kitchen. When we met with her a week later to review her ideas and designs she nailed it! Throughout the process any time we had a question or concern Colbea was always there. She even went with us to pick out the sink, faucet, and tile to make sure everything was perfect. Our kitchen has been finished now for about 6 weeks and we could not be any happier! From the beautiful quartz countertop with a waterfall edge, to the built in pullout spice rack, to the small "hidden" drawers inside of larger drawers our kitchen is not only beautiful but extremely functional! We were looking to do a minor refresh on our kitchen with new countertops and island expansion. Our 1st kitchen design company was not interested in such a small project. We then turned to JM Kitchen and we connected with designer Colbea Chamberlain. She was more than happy to support us on our small project. We knew right away after she came to our home to listen to us and get measurements that she focused on us, the client. We had many back and forths on design and cabinet lines and budgets and as she patiently worked different options we moved from a small project, to a medium project, to a complete kitchen remodel! We had done a full kitchen remodel before so we had design features we knew we wanted and Colbea incorporated our wants with her design touches, all while putting us in a Cabinet line that fit our budget! Of course with any remodel there are challenges that arise and Colbea problem solved with us and the vendors and worked through those like a pro!
