On 3 June,2022 my family and I were in the Ashtabula Mall ,in Ashtabula,Ohio we visited Dunhams Sports store there. I found myself thinking about a purchase of a Electric smoker that I have provided a picture of in question. As you can see the signage on top of the smoker was clearly displayed ,showing to be sold at 259.99. I took the weekend to think about it and I returned to the Dunhams Sports store to purchase that smoker at that price. The store staff informed me that they did not have any in the store. They then called a supervisor about purchasing the display, he said yes. When they rang up the smoker for sale at 259.99 clearly mark as you can see in the picture ,I have provided. They said no,they then called the supervisor again about price and I was told they could not honor that price displayed. After a few minutes I was getting no where with them, and the store staff did not have the power to honor the price clearly posted. I then left the store and called the customer service for corporate Dunhams Sports. I spoke to a Sonya Raven, she told me that she would look into it and call me back. She past it onto another person, and it was denied again! So what I was left with is that you can not trust signage, employees,or corporate customer service of...
Read moreStopped in 8/9/24 at 7:46pm to purchase a small item. Near the register they have Ohio State hoodies on sale for $29.99 with signage up. Went to make the impulse buy and it rang up as $34.99. I asked the girl to match the price and she called up the âmanagerâ, who happened to be around an 18 year old kid. He declined to give me the sale price because it starts tomorrow, even though the signs were up. The girl asked me to come back tomorrow. Nope. You lost a sale. It means itâs not meant to be. Left with an extra $32.09 in my pocket that I didnât spend. TRX: 03953 CSH: 79895 REG: 02
I will say Ashtabula Mall makes me sad. It was probably SO awesome maybe 30 years ago in the 90âs. Now itâs dead and a ghost town. All the stores days are numbered, especially if you make it difficult to do...
Read moreWhile the store workers said they are just enforcing "corporate policy", this store has absurd firearms policies. Customers are not permitted to even touch firearms unless they are bureaucratically permitted to purchase firearms in the State of Ohio (i.e. you're not from out of State). Workers enforce this ID policy even if you are attempting to help an Ohio resident find, fit, and purchase a new firearm. Additionally, employees refuse to remove trigger locks, so prospective purchasers cannot gauge proper grip, length of pull, or trigger function on any firearm. This is not the place to research and purchase a new firearm. I recommend going to Garrett's Guns in Ashtabula or Sportsman's Warehouse in Erie instead. You won't experience those absurd...
