I was shopping at the Green Bay store last Saturday. I was finishing up some final holiday shopping, which seems to never end⦠when I decided Iād check out the clearance rack for myself. As I was looking through some nice sweatpants, I found what I thought at the time, some random blue elastic. I wasnāt sure if it was from another pair of clothing or what but, I looked past it and then grabbed the pair hanging next to it. I proceeded to the check out. I ran to a few more stores in the meantime, getting home a couple hours later. I went to grab my new sweatpants from Dickās but when I went to tie the waistband strings, I felt something hit my leg in the pocket. I stuck my hand in and what I pulled out made me scream in horror. 2 used needles (luckily with caps) and a bloody tissue. I was appalled. I immediately ripped the pants off and checked my body in case I was poked on my thigh or hand. I grabbed a plastic bag and put the needles and tissue in it after washing my hand immediately. I called the Green Bay location and told the man who answered the phone the situation. He seemed shocked and told me Iād have to come in and report it to a manager immediately. Well, in Green Bay, of course, it was during a big snow storm and to add to it, I live on the opposite side of town. 25 minutes later, I arrived at the store where the manager didnāt do much but return the pants and give me a different pair. SO generously, he checked the pockets for me before giving me a new pair, which in the long run, I really felt uneasy about even having. I told him there was blue elastic (putting it together now, the band that would be used on the bicep to fatten the veins) and showed him the rack where I found the pants. Sure enough, the blue elastic was still there. Iām bringing this to your attention because it was a horrifying, disgusting, and scary situation. What would have happened if I had been stabbed by one of the needles? Even with the proof of the elastic, my time stamped receipt, the cashier remembering me from hours earlier, and a picture of the needles, along with the bag of needles and bloody tissue and the items I bought that day, I got a sorry, have a better day and the manager's assumption they were needles from someone who might have needed Insulin...... Sure. Luckily I was the one who found them and not a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLiterally the worst customer service. Every time I'm there, I'm treated like an inconvenience, and the employees act like they hate their jobs. Tonight, trying to just by some drinks and candy, they moved me to 2 separate registers, were bickering with each other, and just chatting with some guy while they were suppose to be ringing me through. Unfortunately, I had no time to deal with all of that since I was just grabbing things for my employees and was working. To top it off, the cashier said to the random man they were talking to "even though I don't run things up here anymore I'm still bossing everyone around" who says that? He also just threw my bag at me and didn't say one word to me or even look at me when I left, and went back to bickering with the other employee. Even if I'm there for shoes or clothes on my own time, I can either never find an employee or when they help me they barley can help me. I will not be back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBasically they are a clothing and shoe store. Went to get new shoes for my 10 year old. Two girls working in the shoe department, they sat down and talked with each other. We had already loaded what shoes on the ipad that they have. Request 2 sizes in the same shoe. After having to ask the two girls if they received the request, they said yes and went back to their discussion. Another 10 minutes passed and they both went on back to grab the shoes ( now there are 5-7 customers now waiting) they only bring one size of course it is the smaller size. I asked again if there was another pair coming and only received an eye roll as she went back to the backroom to get the larger size. I will not be going back. Every time I go to a Dicks sporting goods I find the employees are rude...
