Go to Hot Topic or BoxLunch for "Blind Toys." Save you more $$$. I wish I knew this before making this purchase for my son.
4/26/2025, around 6:26pm - 6:45pm, my family and I had the worst service at Game Stop. The gentleman name Jeremy #435365 only greeted and didn't even bother to ask if we needed help or even look at us. He was too busy on the computer. We were at the Bay Park Mall, Green Bay, WI. My son walked up to Jeremy to make a purchased and he didn't even bother to look at my son but stated to move to the other register. When I told my son to go over to the other register, Jeremy was not very welcoming. He seemed annoyed. We've purchased a BB ADV Animiniz. Jeremy never asked for our names or just to ask that my kids should be pro members. I told him, "No thanks, I'm just here to pay. I never shop here." Jeremy, process to say, "You're really going to pay $25 for that?" He never once mentioned the return policy. As we go to Hot Topic, this exact same toy for $19. I went back to Game Stop for a refund, and Jeremy proceeded to say that he could not return the product because it's a "blind item."" I asked him why he didn't tell us about the return policy before we purchased it? He mentioned that there was NO WAY of him knowing that this purchase was a blind toy, and while he was entering my husband's information, the register triggered him not to make the return.
I'm sorry, but as a customer who does not shop there, I wished that YOUR employees would have addressed your policy before checking people out. All I wanted was a refund, which I paid cash for. We were literally 5-10mins. It's unfortunate that we were treated like this and got turned away. We will not be returning as customers. My children love Gamestop, but I think Jeremy made our shopping experience the worst.
Note: "blind toys" are not refundable, and employees there do not address their return...
