I'm actually so upset with this. I come to this place quite often. It used to be great but this new wave of employees is lacking. There is 1 girl with glasses who always tries but the other ones always have dirty looks on their faces. Fine. Idc. You don't have to be happy to make a drink. But make it RIGHT. There is ALWAYS too much ice, even if I go out of my way to ask for light ice. Something is almost always wrong. I have been trying to give the benefit of the doubt over and over because I don't want to complain ever. But these last few times I keep getting dirty, sticky cups. When I ask for them to be wiped, they hastily wipe them, so now they're not just STILL sticky and dirty, but also wet. This last time I watched her use a rag to wipe down the counters and machine and then USE THE SAME DAMN RAG to "clean" my cup.....which, you guessed it, wasn't dried and handed back to me wet and STILL STICKY so there is 0 point except to disgust me. Furthermore, my drink was made wrong AGAIN, way waaaay too much milk and a ridiculous amount of syrup at the bottom. Seriously. So sweet it hurt my teeth. Straight to the garbage. I could have used my money to blow my nose instead and still have gotten better use out of it than spending/wasting it at this place. Drink is currently in the garbage, right along with their level of "skill" and "service". I count myself lucky never having gotten sick from bacteria with how disgusting their dirty a$$ cups are and the even dirtier rag they use to "clean" them upon request....learn some basic hygiene before you work in food services. It's freaking...
Read moreHate is a very strong word, but in this situation I would say I hated this shop and my experience attending last week. There was a young tall Brown gay men working at the front when I walked in and asked if I could have some of his favorite recommendations of boba, he gave me a very strong rude look and looked me up and down as he asked do I need boba? I scoffed a little because I thought he could be joking until he let out a rude sigh as he listed two drinks I ended up ordering. To be fair I thought he would have had spat in my drink because how the experience was going, I thought I was being very polite as I was asking and handed the card when it declined and he laughed and asked if I could leave. I handed him a $20 bill and asked him to keep the change as he looked poor and his highlights were very untouched. His fingernails are very long and yellow and I didn't feel that good on taking the drinks when he could have washed it or sanitized the area beforehand he was not wearing any gloves, and the worker beside him wasn't stepping up for me so customer service was very very poor. I recommend you go to a different boba shop that you can thrive happily in instead of this rundown gorilla store do not come here if you support lgbtq as I think that he gives a very bad name...
Read moreI have been here only a couple times and it’s been pretty yummy but the most recent time was a disaster and it’s why Im writing a review. A couple days ago I went there and got the pineapple iced tea and boba pearls with added coconut jelly (i was feeling a pina colada) which costed more. I tasted it and it was sour so I gave it to my friend and she agreed. We both got stomach aches from it and realized it was the coconut jelly which should’ve been thrown out the day before and replaced with new jelly. We went back and talked to the employees working there and they did nothing about it. No refund and didn’t even throw out the coconut jelly even after they tasted how bad it was. All they said was “Im sorry about that.” Then continued with whatever they were doing. It was definitely a waste of 7 dollars and I feel bad for anyone who got any of the drinks that day. (i think it was a boy with long hair and an asian who was working...
