Mojos — Local services in Ashwaubenon

Stopped in while I was on my way to visit family. One worker seemed to be cleaning product, other worker was seemingly ignoring my presence and snacking on potato chips. I asked if I could purchase a copy of Super Mario Sunshine that they had in their case marked for 39.99. The worker didn’t say a word to me, dropped his bag of potato chips behind the counter then proceeded to barely wipe his hands on his pants before going and retrieving the game for me.

The transaction was fast but the customer service was pretty much nonexistent.

After getting home from visiting my family I checked the copy I purchased and it didn’t have the manual with it. Just the health and safety guide. The box wasn’t tagged via sticker that it was missing the manual, like their normal busy practices would be.

Additionally, in regard to “health and safety”, I had to clean off potato chip “dust” from whatever that man was eating as well! Absolutely appalling.

Now, I have been shopping at Mojo’s since its beginning in Shawano, WI. This location has been more and more off putting each time I shop there. I am not even attempting a refund because the customer service was abysmal and there isn’t much of a way for me to “prove” that I purchased the game without it having the manual. I’ll just pay someone else for a loose manual to complete this copy.

Moral of the story? Mojo’s - you have dropped off HARD in recent years in terms of your cleanliness, customer service, and quality control of what you put on your sales floor. You have officially lost a customer who cherished and supported your business since the very beginning. I hope you’ll seriously reconsider who you have running your store and how you address your customers. To anyone thinking of going here, don’t. Take your business to any of the other local used gaming stores. You’ll surely not have to deal with the situation I...

A secret hideaway for nerds and movie lovers.

Mojo's has always offered a wide selection of movies for anyone looking for a DVD on the cheap. Most movies cost 3 or 4 dollars, as they are used movies. Don't think that this is a bad thing, as all the movies are polished when purchased, and I have never had a problem with a DVD I have gotten from them.

Mojo's also has retro games for sale, though depending on the console supplies can be limited. They also have a very tiny amount of games on modern systems, but that supply is very small.

Mojo's has staff who are wonderful to work with and have always been helpful. Mojo's even has a loyalty rewards system that makes visiting the store worth it.

Not trying to be rude like the cashier was but when I came in to buy a wee switch for my girlfriend that I know nothing about, but she wanted it. I may have asked some pretty common sense questions, but I needed to know before purchasing for my girlfriend. Big cashier dude with short black hair, Just kept laughing at my questions and saying I should know this is common sense. It’s been out since 2017 like sorry I upset you for not knowing something about a video game system But they are definitely better ways to go amongst educating your customers rather than laughing in their face and making me feel stupid.
