If I could give this store a 0 star I truly would. I recently bought an engagement ring online from their website. I received the ring and proposed a few days later. I noticed a possible birthmark in the diamond and brought it in that week to get checked. The worker immediately stated the diamonds were loose on the ring. She then explained that it would take weeks to get fixed and would only be covered if we bought the protection plan. I asked her how it could already be loose on the ring. She stated that in shipping the box will shake around. On my way home I called and spoke to Braana the manager. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Stating to return the ring then and said she didnât care what I decided to do. She then told me the ring could get fixed in 3 days if I bought the protection for $380. I decided to do so. My fiancĂ© dropped off the ring the following day and the manager stated that her and the jeweler fixer now has to work on their day off for us and was extremely snarky. Today (3 days later) we called to check on the status of the ring. They stated they would call if the ring was ready. The ring came in the night before and they never bothered reaching out to us. When we went to then pick up the ring they told us it was $480 to get fixed and the manager stated a ânew workerâ gave us that price and that it was again not her problem. The manager was extremely disrespectful and very rude. They did not honor the price they told us it would be and refused to give us any contact information to reach out to Braanas manager. All workers have been absolutely awful to deal with. Please shop anywhere but this store unless you want an all around terrible experience. All we wanted was help and for the store to work with us even though we were only an annoyance to them and showed no care whatsoever. I will never step foot in that location ever again based off of how terrible every...
Read morePlease avoid this location/company for your own sake. They called me and left a message saying that I can pick up my own engagement ring before I was proposed to because âmy name and number were listed.âKeep in mind I was not aware that he had picked out a ring or bought one. The reason why my information was listed was because of the incompetence of all staff members, but especially the lady who helped my boyfriend when he picked it out. She prompted him to answer questions and fill out paperwork that ended up being done incorrectly/in the wrong order. Which is how my information ended up being listed. Engagement rings are something you only buy once, hopefully. I would expect the help and guidance from people who supposedly know what theyâre doing. When confronted about the mistake they made, they took no ownership of what happened and continued to blame us. We talked to an employee and an assistant manager who offered no solutions other than âsorryâ, which simply does not make up for what they did, and the employee became confrontational. My boyfriend âreturnedâ the ring (even though we never actually took possession of it) so he can go somewhere else and find people who take pride and ownership of what they do and maybe wonât spoil a surprise. I donât know how, as a company, you can defend their actions, but I do know you need better employee education. There should be a standard procedure for everything, but who knows, maybe this happens more often than I thought given the competency of your staff. If anything, there should have been a common sense warning in the back of that person's head because after all, engagements are usually a surprise. I am extremely disappointed with this situation; this ruined what was supposed to be a happy and...
Read moreI bought my fiancĂ© a wedding band at this Zales in the Bay Park Mall of Green Bay. When I purchased the ring, I was told it was a size 8 and the receipt confirmed it. When I gave it to my fiancĂ©, it was a size too big. We drove an hour and a half to go to the store to exchange the ring for the size 8 I was supposed to have gotten. We explained the situation to the associate in the store and had her size the ring to make sure. It was, in fact, a size 9. We asked if we could exchange it for the exact same ring marked a size 8 in the box next to the original ring. She said we could, but we would have to pay full price ($250) because they were no longer having their store wide sale. Mind you, I got the ring 30% off when I bought it ($175). Itâs important to note: the whole sizing error was their fault, not ours. We asked her to size the âsize 8â it anyway⊠it was actually a size 10. We asked to speak to her manager, as they would be more insightful on a solution. We were told she was on break. In the meantime, this associate grabbed another associate for an idea of what to do. They gave us other options, but not a solution. We tried to reason with them and were told in order to process an exchange, they need to give the system a reason as to why, and our reason, âwasnât good enoughâ. Also, that if they leave the reason blank, it throws up a flag in the system.. but a flag in the inventory should have already been thrown up because they sold us a size 9 that was marked as a size 8. In the end, they never honored the exchange and failed to compensate for their error. We also never got to speak to the manager. We decided to just return the ring and take our money elsewhere. Be careful...
