Torrid — Local services in Ashwaubenon

Never had issues with this store until recently — I had a coupon from my previous visit of buying jeans, so I came back to use it on some bras. Originally a worker (Savannah) helped me during the process she was knowledgeable & helpful, it was BOGO that day so I still had to choose an additional item she guided me to some options and I had asked if this coupon would work on it she said yes it would. Upon checking out I had went in my head hmm thats a bit more than it should be so when I got in my car I used my phone calculator and found out I didnt get to use my coupon (they kept it though) so I called the store and they said come back in. So I did, when re-entering the store I got Heather. I explained & she assured me her worker was RIGHT with the information she gave me but explained that since that item she guided me to was already reduced it wasnt eligible… Then I pointed out that I’m also RIGHT that is what she (Savannah) told me. She said there was nothing she could do and had an attitude the rest of the time she refunded me for that item & I had to ASK for my coupon back. Further more for the BOGO bras I got they had only one in stock — the other had to be shipped to store. After this encounter I had decided to look elsewhere for a bra & I found better & cheaper so today I went in to return the one I physically had as I just got a call yesterday from Torrid explaining I needed to come in to get my order or it was being shipped back. I had gotten a order that my item was picked up?!!! After the fact, & so when I went in today it all got addressed. I again, got Heather. Upon setting my torrid bag on the counter her first words are “want me to keep this here while you look around” I’m unsure why her first words weren’t “how can I help you today” instead. So upon this interaction she said i will refund you 39$ I said well I have a pickup here too that I got a call about yesterday that I also want refunded. & She looked it up and said it was marked picked up… & So I raised my concern how what if I wouldn’t have came today and it would’ve been a couple days later or more that I would’ve definitely gotten accused of picking up the item since someone marked it as such! & She got even more mad that she couldn’t even talk correctly to me. & Told me I shouldn’t assume the worst, but THATS LITERALLY WHAT WOULDVE HAPPENED SINCE SOMEONE THERE MADE THE MISTAKE. Someone could’ve taken it or it could’ve gotten “misplaced” & with it being marked “I picked it up” I would’ve been out money with no proof because the system. & She ended this encounter with “Leave my store” Like newsflash if you see this — the money doesn’t come out of your paycheck & clearly retail isn’t for you. & Upon reading further reviews it honestly doesn’t surprise me & All the things ive read online about torrid over the years, let alone how they price gouge us bigger women with the insane prices to begin with. Its sad. So if you’re shopping here be cautious & I would definitely choose another route. I will attach photos as proof....

I stopped in a few weeks ago to find some jeans. Being plus size, it's not easy to find places that carry past a certain size, and if they do, the fit is usually terrible. I was greeted immediately and one of the staff members helped me choose a fit based on my preference. I decided to kind of venture off by myself and find stuff I liked, but she still checked up on me to make sure everything was going well! There were two girls working and both were extremely knowledgeable about their products. I actually felt like I mattered when visiting this store, whereas most places brush you off as just another customer. If I could give these ladies 10/5 stars I would! You guys are fantastic. The staff that was here on 2/27/24 at 5 was absolutely disgusting the way I over seen this worker talk about a customer was horrible, I’ve been trying to get over it but that customer didn’t nothing wrong and left without buying anything because of how rude and gross that nasty little girl was yes she looks like she’s 30 but someone who makes someone leave for being nasty is a little girl this establishment is getting a bad rep from this one worker I hope this opens your eyes to see that you don’t want her to represent your company thank you...
