iāve been coming to all star nails since september 2020 and i can honestly say in the beginning iāve gotten the best all around service i kept my two nail technician of my choice until one quit then i went to another person was happy with his service then he quit my latest visit was the worst my original nail technician lynn(female) whoās been servicing me for 2 years suddenly gotten sloppy with her work i like sns service done on my natural nails and lately sheās been rushing not making them thick as i request so my real nails under the dipping powder breaks which makes me start over it seems like she doesnāt like the fact that my nails grow quick and i donāt like to cut them down so she starts doing lousy work to the point my nails will break she files my nails lopsided i donāt see how natural nails can be crooked the dipping powder donāt be covering my full nail she just changed and if she donāt like the fact i like to stick with the natural look then she can decline my service now for the toenails a new technician(female) did my toes my last visit and i told her , her name is lauren that i usually donāt allow females to do my toes because they donāt like to touch toes sheās like ohh itās fine whatever so she does my toes terribly it took her over a hour to complete my regular pedicure with gel polish what i requested and i was overcharged at the end because she acted like i didnāt tell her regular pedicure i was charged for popular and polish was smudged looking glumpy i had to tell her to put an extra coat so the toes looked polished it was like the polish was running out and she didnāt have enough in the bottle again this was an all star nail spa in my opinion but now i will take my money elsewhere thanks for the service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an appointment today (05/08/22) at 2:00pm at All Star Nails. The lady (didn't get her name) but she has black hair with brown streaks began to do my pedicure. A guy was doing my nails at the same time. She nicked me a few times with the drill, but I did not complain. When it was time to put my foot under the lamp, she placed my foot where it needed to be. I did not move my foot by the way. She rushed and jammed my foot under the lamp and then become irate and frustrated when she pulled my foot out and the polish was messed up. It was her fault for not taking her time and just jamming my foot under the lamp. When she realized the polish was messed up she became irate, furious, and unprofessional. She began screaming throughout the entire salon, yelling in her language, pointing me out to the entire salon. Then she began slamming stuff against the foot stool where my foot was and took the drill and began to purposely cut my toes with the drill. She then slammed her stuff down, put her tools back up, and went in the back and began yelling again in another language so I couldn't understand what she said. All of this was very unwarranted as I was nothing but respectful. I have pictures of all the nicks on my toes as well as how I had to walk out of the shop. I was supposed to be getting dolled up for my graduation but now I am left with burning toes. I have pictures that document how my toes look. I did not deserve to be treated this way. All I wanted was to look nice for my graduation. It's unfortunate that I had to take the high road because I was by myself in the shop and I have an amazing job and too...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am giving two stars because the nails i got were actually really cute, and they were done well. However, the service I got was horrible. The lady who serviced me was really rude. She offered everyone around me wine and when I said oh I did not know that was a thing here, she said well you aren't spending enough money for the [complimentary] wine (and I understand that if it comes with a specific service but she was offering it to people who were just walking in the door, no appointment to indicate a specific service, and sitting at the same manicure table). Then she upcharged me, saying that having tips for an acrylic full set costs extra. That is simply not true; tips are what disguishes a full set from an overlay, and I was specifically getting acrylic as opposed to sns because sns does not come with tips and I needed them due to my nail length. I then asked why, because I got very short nails. She said that I was not spending enough money and they want people to get more expensive services so that is why she was charging me extra for the tip itself, despite the length.
This upset me because, duh. But also, if I was going to spend that amount, then I would have gotten the service that that covers too, you know? I get very basic acrylic sets because I like doing nail art on them at home, as nails have been a hobby of mine for years and I just go to the salon to get acrylic since it is hard to get good acrylic materials that adhere well without a license. So.. yea. I found that service to be pretty messed up and mean. Nails were...
