We got there an hour before their scheduled closing time and there was basically nothing on the revolving belt. When we did order our sushi it took so long to the point where we left early without getting all of our dishes. Weâve been to many kura sushiâs, doravile, Duluth, etc. this is by far the worst one weâve been to. Iâve never had an experience like thisâŠfirst the host was extremely unprofessional and had a rude attitude. We had kindly asked to be seated away from other guests because we had our daughter with us, I had to tell her two times and she gave us a nasty look as if we were stupid. How is it a hard concept that we want to sit away from people to avoid as much contact as possible. Guess where she sat usâŠright next to the entrance doorâŠbefore she sat us there we ASKED TWO TIMES, we EVEN PHYSICALLY WALKED TOWARDS THE OTHER TABLE, we asked if we could be sat at the table on the other side of the table she was trying to sit us at. She then told us no cause it was âCLOSEDâ. we finally sat down and 10 minutes later a 2 top comes in and she sits them LITERALLY right at the table she said was âCLOSEDâ. Youâd think that would be the end of it right? Next she asked us if we wanted wasabi or spicy mayo, I said very clearly, WASABI, two different words kinda hard to mess that up right? NOPE spicy mayo came to our table. See I work in the same industry, whenever I mishear something I either ask the guest what it was again or just bring both to avoid problems. Last but not least the cherry on top, the same host/server was getting into it with what I assume is a manager or shift lead about some problem they had earlier, they werenât mindful that guests were right next to them and were arguing pretty loudly. Very unprofessional from both of them, as someone who works in the same industry and has had people work under me, if you need to address an issue to an employee you do it away from guests. This restaurant needs corporate or GMs from a different location to tidy things up cause this was a horrible experience.    Read moreI NEVER leave reviews, but I need people to know after today. This was my fourth time going, and the first two were horrible. The sushi was nasty, the service took forever, and the servers never knew what was going on. The 3rd time was much better, and the fish started to taste better.
Today, I went to grab some Tantanmen; I couldn't order extra eggs and meat on the website, so I had to go in. Upon walking in, I was not greeted by the awkward 20-something at the door. Fine, okay, he took my order of ramen and iced green tea, when I got the tea, it tasted just like meat water. Im not even joking. Tried to add some sugar packets - sweet green meat water.
The manager came out, and I told him about the green tea, he happily replaced it with a Mr. Pibb. When I told the server about it, he said it could have been mixed with a spoon that was used on meat. What?!?!?! I got my ramen and went home.
When I got home, and opened my container, it was below half full. Other times I've gotten ramen from here the bowl was always full.
I Had to go back and tell them what was up. A chef told me he would take care of it. I think all he did was add Broth.

   Read moreFirst and last time here. I walked in around 8:15 with my fam and two year old son after a 45 minute drive where nobody even acknowledged our presence. We saw three-four employees chit chatting and even one in the front by the door the group of employees then walked away from the front area, waited for at least 10 minutes before one of the chatty employees finally came over to let us know that they would be closing early and are short staffed which is fully understandable with notice of course. There was a large group behind us and the associate that came over and explained to us all that the kitchen is closed early assumed that we were all together because weâre black. I asked for a manager because someone shouldâve came over and said something sooner. She brought over Pedro the manager with his chipped front tooth who was very sarcastic and not considerate at all of us driving so far and waiting just to be turned back around. The employees and especially the manager Pedro shouldâve have been looking out for new customers and the girl by the door as well.
