Went to the pool at noon. Saw an employee adding what smelled like chlorine to the pool. Left and came back 30 minutes later. Pool still not open. Had to wait until pool was "clear". About 12:50 we were able to enter. As I walked around the pool, I could see chemical residue by the edges of the pool. I could definitely smell the "chlorine" in the air. I got in the shallow area designed for kids. I felt it was safe due to the water being pumped through the large water toys and I didn't see any build up in that area. I did see trash. A used straw and other stuff. Definitely had a lot of there things not typically found in a pool like rubber bands, hair ties, braids and sunflower seed shell. YUCK. I guess that is why so much chlorine. I didn't submerge my face. My eyes burned just sitting poolside. I checked to see if the pumps were were working to move the water through the filter system.
