BRT Weekend “Caribbean Music Festival” — Local services in Atlantic City

So far the DJs, artist are good and the venue location is convenient. Cons, skillibeng was part of the line up and Skilli himself posted on IG he wasn’t coming. BRT never announced he wasn’t coming. False advertisement. Event start times are running up to 2 hours late! The first day BRT had us on line in the sun for almost 2 hours no water no shade no nothing. Then when we finally got in the bar wasn’t open for another 1.5 hour! Once inside the lines to get refreshment or even food are way too long! If you’re into hookah getting a hookah is like pulling teeth and to get refill good luck! The hotel they hook you up for a discounted rate is trash! It’s run down and dirty! Has hidden fees! Parking not included! Our first room had a broken bed, no phone and there were stains and hair in the sheets!! The claridge! But that’s a whole different review. BRT needs to do better!! Everyone works hard and pays good money to attend and this is gross neglect! And false advertisement! You ask questions and nobody knows anything. Today for instance the white party is running 2 hours late supposedly! Could be longer! Nobody knows! BRT sent a text saying dexta daps on stage 6pm sharp! The Event overall was enjoyable for Saturday's events. My group loved the wet& wild and J'ouvert events. Friday everything seemed unorganized and all lines were extremely long and food staff was rude. Be sure to go HYDRATED we waited in line for food 2.5hrs and drink line 45min each day.
