I am here to share my most recent experience with purchasing my daughter's furniture. This is my second ever review, and I never want to speak negatively about a business. This is terrible customer service, and I hope people can learn from our negative experiences. We purchased and received my daughter's bedroom furniture (desk, hatch, and bed) in early March. Immediately during delivery, we noticed a few quality issues with the brand-new furniture. There were multiple noticeable scratches and chipped paint. The delivery team contacted the office about these issues. We offered to send a technician out to "fix" the problems. Unfortunately, while waiting for the technician without even using the desk, one of the pieces completely broke off. The technician came to our house the next week, looked at the furniture and said quickly that he couldn't do anything since the furniture is white. We were then offered a replacement. The replacement took another week to be delivered. Upon replacement delivery, we noticed it had the same scratches, and the quality isn't much better at all. In fact, a piece of furniture broke off right when the movers tried to help by cleaning off the scratches. Customer service then offered another exchange or credit back with another purchase. if we want a refund, we must speak to the initial salesperson to process the paperwork. We request a refund. The customer service lady instructed the movers to return the furniture and for the salesperson to contact us for a refund. Since then, Cardi Furniture has had minimal contact with us, and we have been bounced from one person to another to get our refund. We had to call each time only to be passed from person to person. The sales person said, "I only work on the weekends, i can't help you now. can I call you back on the weekend?" we waited until the following weekend, no contact. We called again, and the salesperson said since he only works on the weekend, he can't help us so that he will pass on the work to his boss. The issue still needs to be resolved. We are now speaking to the account team...... How can a business sell poor-quality furniture at a high price (over $2000 for three items) and have such bad customer service? It's been five weeks since our initial purchase. We have no furniture since our old furniture was given away to make place for the new one. My daughter has been sleeping on the floor, and Cardi's is still holding our refund with very little...
Read moreReally bad experience today when my boyfriend and I visited this store. We went inside looking to try to find the same couch I currently have on our own and browse around a bit for dining table sets. As we were walking to look around an older man (employee) wearing a blue dress shirt and khaki dress pants greeted us and we greeted back. He asked if we were there to look for something specific but we said no to be left alone politely said no thank you were just looking. The man proceeded to be rude and said “so ya’ll just happened to stop by on this beautiful day and come in here to just look”. Appalled by the comment we just said yes and walked away which it didn’t stop there. As we walked away the old man said “thank you for wasting my time” and my boyfriend and I couldn’t believe the rudeness. We just wanted to do the search on our own before asking for help since we were thinking about browsing around later. As we walked up the stairs to the second floor that same old man was talking to another employee and I immediately knew it was about us because the other employee looked directly at us while they were talking. We browsed the second floor and I saw the old man near by behind me so I thought that was odd. After a bit I was able to tell he was following us around the store. As we walked to the third floor I texted my boyfriend and told him the old man was making me uncomfortable and that he was following us around. On the third floor we again searched there for the couch but didn’t find it so my boyfriend suggested I look at my email purchase verification and as I was showing it to him the old man was behind us and said “do you have a picture of something specific your looking for?” Feeling super uncomfortable with the interaction after all of this we simply just said no and thank you and walked down the stairs and left. Don’t think I wanna go back after this. The rudeness , harassment and the treatment we got like we were suspicious was very uncalled for. Before this we went to Bob’s Furniture store and another Cardi’s location and as soon as we declined the help and said thank you to the employees they left us alone. They didn’t harassed us like...
Read moreRun, don't walk away from Cardi's. If you want a comfortable high-end mattress, you won't find it here. You will get the runaround. Yes, the salespeople are friendly, but in the end, they want the sale. We have had two "defective" mattresses in two and a half years. Cardi's replaced the first mattress because of a sag, and the serial number matched a defective batch. Nevertheless, it was replaced with a mattress within a prorated dollar amount. The second, a high-end memory foam mattress we paid extra for because sales said "it was the best," began to lose its support in the last 3 months. Enter the extended mattress warranty and a call to customer service, which was futile. Customer service, while polite, is unwilling to listen to your problem; they only send a technician to assess the problem 3 weeks after you call. The technician arrives, assesses the situation, tells you the mattress is defective, and refers you back to customer service. Customer Service provides different parameters because they don't want to deal with you as you plead your case by robotically reiterating, "There must be a 1.5 to 2-inch sag across the "entire" mattress for it to be defective". In addition, the Cardi's Furniture mattress extended warranty and protection plan is a complete joke. Don't waste your money! Sales tells you the additional $250 warranty covers everything, including defects and any potential issue with the padding for 5 years, but customer service says it only covers stain removal. So now you are stuck with a "high-end" memory foam mattress that causes excruciating back pain due to the deteriorated support, a worthless extended warranty, and 8 years remaining on the "high-end" mattress warranty Cardi's Furniture will not honor. You, like me, are out of a significant amount of money on three mattresses (2 defective plus a replacement). In short, mattress warranties are worthless, Cardi's turned out to be less than reputable, and we're enduring back pain until we can procure a new mattress. So yes, run from the crooks at Cardi's Furniture and go elsewhere. (( If you cannot tell, I'm pretty upset and wanted to share a first hand...
