Glik's — Local services in Auburn

SO many name brand options for women, men, and children! The store seems to be growing little by little since I began shopping here 12yrs ago. They offer a large variety of clothing for literally all sizes-the largest women’s size I’ve seen was a 2x. There’s something for everyone here. The staff is great, always greeting you when you arrive making you feel welcome the second you walk through the door. After about 5min an employee will personally approach you and ask you if you need help finding anything or would like to try anything on. They do not offer bags or baskets if you have a handful of items, but that’s ok because they will offer to hold your items for you behind the counter:) This store has been my go to for years and I’ve never walked out empty handed. My teenage sister and I went to Gliks to do some Christmas shopping, and my sister was having issues with her card at check out. Her card does not work at some businesses due to the bank. I noticed she was having trouble so I walked over to her and the cashier was quite rude to her about the fact her card was not working. The last attempt she took to swipe her card the cashier looked at my sister and said “denied” and looked at me and did not say anything else. I assume she was assuming my sister had insufficient funds which was not the case. I like this store, always has a great selection. I feel like this store would benefit off of lowering their price. Surely would get more business. Clothing seems to be cheaply made, for when I tried something on it ripped. Wasn’t the first time- and in no way am I too big for these clothes.
