FIRST ENCOUNTER - Redmond Store - Manager Bryant helped us - Time in store = 4hours: Brought all my groomsmen in they picked out a suit and decided to go with the buy now option instead of the rental (rental is a different but similar style, cannot buy a rental style). I did not want ANY of the groomsmen to have to come back in for a rental if they were buying so Bryant set us up with an outfit that would be a complete BUY ONLY. Bryant made us a group number for a later purchase.
SECOND ENCOUNTER - Auburn Store - Manager Amye helped us - Time in store = 2hours: Went to purchase my brothers suit and Amye pulled up our group number that Bryant made and COMPLAINT#1: all the style numbers were wrong, they were all rentals and he did not save any of the style numbers of ANY of the BUY only items we chose. (Thank God I took pictures of what we chose) COMPLAINT #2: he did not record ANY of the size measurements of the groomsmen COMPLAINT #3: he suggested an ivory shirt because my dress is ivory but it was a color that can only be rented!!!
So now Amye had to clean up his mess and make a new group number with the CORRECT style numbers and colors.
COMPLAINT #4 - Now all my groomsmen have to come back in to get resized as well as come back in two days before the wedding to get just a shirt because they don't provide it in buy now option AND return it the next day
COMPLAINT #5 - A groomsmen spoke to Bryant on a later day and Bryant told him that there was not a shirt picked out yet for the group (apparently he didn't see or realize there was a buy now group# and rental# - maybe if they didn't use ancient software worse than Windows 95 they could figure it out, just saying)
**if any of my groomsmen had bought their suits with the botched group number Bryant had created they would have shown up to the wedding in a completely different outfit than expected
SECOND ENCOUNTER - Auburn store - Regional Manager Carl helped us - Time in Store = 5hours: COMPLAINT#6 - Went to buy two groomsmen suits. The original person helping (unknown name) accessed the group info and tried putting my groomsmen in a jacket - when they got a vest. I had to pull out my pictures of the outfits for him to know what to grab.
COMPLAINT#7 - Carl started helping and the group Amye created didn't have the vest in the group. And an entire new group had to be made.
COMPLAINT #8 - I over heard one guys complaining that he had his suit altered 3 times and they made it too small and they couldn't fix it in time for his event. The second visit I heard another guy picking up his suit and complaining that hopefully they fixed their mistake so the suit would fit.
Long story short this has been the MOST stressful and difficult experience in my entire wedding planning.. they do not know what they are doing there at all and I would not suggest EVER going there, I really appreciate the help of Carl and Amye after the DISASTER Bryant caused however I think they need to come up with a better system on keeping...
Read moreSave yourself the time and money and go to an actual tailor shop. Took my husband here to have his shirt tailored for our wedding. All he needed was the shirt brought in to fit him better. They gave him an estimated ready by date and a few days after that due date past and we still hadnât heard from them, he called in. Got told âoh yeah itâs sitting back here, come get itâ. Went to go get it, not only did they do nothing to it, they lied about it and charged us for it. He is still swimming in this shirt. There is no way if it had been tailored like they said that it wouldâve been that big on him still. The manager then comes in, admits it doesnât look like the seamstress did anything, then says well âmaybe they didâ and then refuse to refund us. The final straw was when she asks my husband about our wedding colors stating the green shirt he was wearing was interesting and she wanted to know the opposing color, my husband told her. She snickered in his face, told him âoh thatâs different â and walked off. So not only did we pay for a service we know we and the manager knows didnât receive, we got lied to by the employees, we never received a call, and my husband gets made fun of for our colors right in front of him. Completely unprofessional and clearly lack quality work/people. With 3 days until our wedding now we donât have time to let them figure it out at this point, they had 3 weeks and did nothing. We ended up having to go buy a whole new shirt. Never will we return here and we will always tell anyone who asks to go somewhere else and save your...
Read moreI had bought a few suits from here a few years back, and tailoring then was OK but not great. This year went to rent suits with 7 other groomsmen and the groom, and they completely dropped the ball.
Got all measured in February and told to come pick up before the wedding this weekend. The other groomsmen got their suits before me, and most of them said their measurements were off, 2 of them to the point that the suits were unusable, not just odd looking. All of our pants came down and touched our shoes, except one pair that they decided to tailor to be above the ankle.
I went in the day before to pick up the suit, as early as I could in case they'd messed up my suit as well. They didn't mess it up, they told me they didn't have me down for a suit at all. I had been measured with all the rest of the men, I'd watched them take notes of my sizes, then paid for my suit and 3 of the other men, and yet somehow I did not exist in their system.
At this point to be fair I will thank the manager Benny, who did manage to get me a suit that fit fine a few hours before the wedding and was apolgetic for the mistake. He noted to me that he'd waived the "expedite fee" to get it done overnight which I can appreciate.
I'd again like to thank Benny for managing to fix the biggest problem of me not having a suit at all. In the future I will look for somewhere else to get suits for events, as our experience overall with this store...
