Got film developed here for the first time, and the first 2-3 exposures were damaged due to light exposure. I thought nothing of it and that maybe I had accidentally caused the damage when loading the film. I went back a second time, and after paying for my development, I watched the worker pull out the first three exposures of the film and expose it to light directly in front of me. I chose not to complain because the damage had already been done, and I figured it would be best to wait until I received my files. When receiving my files, as expected, the first few exposures were damaged, and I lost necessary photos for the project due to the negligence of the worker. I called back to ask why he had exposed my film to light and if there was any compensation for damaged film, and the worker explained that it was “protocol to pull the film out and label it.” I recommend finding literally any other store that actually knows how to train their workers, and one that doesn’t ask for an extra tip for uninformed, and likely underpaid (this was my first time seeing tips requested for film development) workers. I don’t blame the specific worker, but rather, the owner or manager for failing to adequately manage their business. You’re costing your customers money for poor work, wasting their time, and losing their photos. As this is a very convenient location, it’s unfortunate that it falls short. I recommend driving to San Marcos if you want similar turn around times, especially if you want to avoid the 2 1/2 week turn around most...

Absolutely furious. I went to this lab expecting professional service, but what I got was careless incompetence. When placing my order, I clearly selected the option to keep my negatives, and even double-checked before finalizing. What did they do? They trashed them without a word.
Do they not understand how irreplaceable film negatives are? These weren’t just images—they were memories and hours of work. Gone. No apology, no responsibility, just a shrug and a “there’s nothing we can do.”
If you care at all about your work, your art, or your memories, DO NOT trust this lab. Completely unacceptable.
Nice response goofballs.. Thats because the name is Viktor Pecenko, NOT...
