The Vine — Attraction in Austin

The Vine Church in ATX is an incredibly personal and authentic community of people prioritizing unity to Jesus and one another. My wife and I have looked for a local Christian community for a few years and The Vine is an answered prayer for us. Personally, we've already been invited to new member meals, lent service, men's/women's nights, a small group - it's an intimate enough space to be known (ranging from 40-80 people on Sunday's if I took a guess).

It's hard to describe the goodness here. The Vine is a group gently and powerfully living out the call of Jesus. You're immediately welcomed by generous staff, you're free to be as involved or laid back in Sunday services as needed, and you're offered donut holes and GOOD coffee every morning (kind of surface-level thing but awesome).

The Vine has been a refuge for me in a season of healing. After leaving a spiritually abusive church, I wasn't sure a safe church existed. But The Vine community continues to prove that it is.

It's ok with my wounds, my doubts, and my questions. In fact, it welcomes them. I don't feel pressured to be any other version of myself but the authentic one.

There's no cult of personality, no leader building his or her platform, no fog machine, stage, or light displays. Just humble people following Jesus together.

We have been attending for 10 weeks now and have felt like part of the church since day 1! Love the contemporary style worship and the messages brought every week are practical and can be applied to our daily lives! Very diverse and affirming. Jesus is the main focus and love is abundantly given. We have been to all the events from BBQ, trunk or treat, bowling night and soon to come community chili cook off!
