Well it is official I have lost all faith in Nice Kicks. After being in contact with the owner numerous times and him promising to send us something for our experience. Even tho we never asked for anything he insisted he send something to us. First it was some T-Shirts but those never seemed to make it to our house, and then he said he was going to send us something very special and it has been about a week and a half since that promise and still nothing tried to get in touch with him to ask about it and I'm not mad about not getting anything at all. I never expected to get anything, it was just he gave me his word and as you can tell HIS WORD means nothing because he promised to make up for our visit and yet NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE WHICH HE GAVE HIS WORD ON DOING. If you ask me don't waste your money or time at NICE KICKS. In this day and age your WORD is everything its what gets you RESPECT and gets your Company a good name but I guess that doesn't matter anymore. I will from now on be going to any shoe store but Nice Kicks to fill my sneaker addiction. And again I'm not angry more along the Lines of Disappointed in this entire experience.
UPDATE:Well After talking with the owner on the phone and talking about our situation we had. He promised us to send us something in the mail or what not. We have been waiting for even an email response back but still nothing and we have no interest in ever going back to Nice Kicks.-----------
When we first got there we were excited to be at a "Premier" Shoe store but that quickly turned to just plain disappointment. They had a wall of shoes in this cool looking display but a lot of the shoes were just regular shoes nothing special about them. The service could have been the worst I have ever experienced in my sneakerhead life. I have better conversations about shoes at the mall shoe stores than I did here. I would rather go to the mall or any but here to get my new kicks. I must say this store is over hyped and just...
Read moreNot even three steps into the store I'm checked out by all the workers. I'm walking around the store, looking for shoes and during the process I see many workers throwing rubber bands and talking about other costumers. I then finally find a pair of Jordans and ask for my size and they don't have my size. I'm not mad that they didn't have my size, but after reading the reviews from this store I know that this happens to many other customers. I really don't understand how this store has loyal customers after the rude employees and especially the rude (African American) Manger. Once the manger told me "The only time I see you in this store is when we're doing raffles", but when I plan on buying shoes they never have my size. The employees lack knowledge of customer service, but they don't lack knowledge of shoes... thank god. After leaving the store I'm then stuck trying to exit a cramped parking lot that is extremely small. Of course there's good things about this store is that the inside is clean and modern and they allow many sneakerheads in central Texas a opportunity to buy rare shoes. My overall experience was extremely awkward and I for sure plan on not going again, and hopefully you don't plan...
Read moreSCAMMERS! Do not shop here!! Do not give this company your business and whatever you do… DO NOT park in their lot! Even if you go into their store they will boot your car. Must be a side hustle. Today on my boyfriends birthday we were only looking at all the stores here for an hour, when we came back there was a boot on the car. We had to pay $100. I will be disputing this with my lawyer. By reading these reviews it looks like they have been preying on customers for awhile now. The sign to warn you of towing and booting is in the far corner of the building wall and can be hard to see! Then their guy who drives around in a Mercedes who works for a “private business” for the landlord is just around the corner ready to boot your car. As soon as we paid $100 he IMMEDIATELY booted another car no hesitation. BTW nice nicks was CLOSED at this point of time. Im sorry what is the sense of urgency if the business is closed and is not in need of parking for their employees or customers??? Right because they prey on vehicles to make extra money and get their cut. The system is messed up and this company does not deserve business. Even booting customers who go into their store and give them...
