Been coming to this place for about 5 years or so. And a lot has changed since then. They used to have an amazing salad bar with fresh salads of Mexican heritage and traditional ingredients.. it’s now GONE! they used to have an extensive 4 page menu (kind of scary for restaurants, due to quality of each dish with such many options) BUT!! they refined it.. and guess what! All the GOOD STUFF IS GONE! Sadly.. I used to love coming here for dinner with the wife, or even just a quick lunch during the work week, and maybe even sometimes come spend a few hours and get sauced at the bar!! … I went a few days ago.. it’s just all bad! All the way bad!! They shrunk the menu! By a lot! And that’s good! But they changed what items they did keep. I used to order a Mexican burger, or even the enchiladas, or a seafood dish.. everything has been minimized to where there’s really nothing special there… I went ahead and ordered a “torta ahogadas” it was $18!!! No sides. It was of pork! It was the most vile thing I’ve ever tasted. The meat doesn’t taste quality, it lacks flavor of any kind! Tasted really bland and old to be honest. But the kicker is that it took almost 30 minutes for it to come out. And it was DEAD on a Wednesday afternoon 12:00pm .. The service has just gone really down hill. Not sure if it’s ownership, or management. But it’s clearly evident that this place is very much a tourist trap! So many other spots to really enjoy your time, with great service, astronomical delicious flavors and options on the menu for a great price! And most importantly! THE BARTENDER THERE is gone! Probably one of the best cocktail makers I’ve ever encountered.. For further context about this review, about 2 years ago I took my wife to have dinner. The service was sketchy at that time, and a lot of noticeable changes started to take place. Off the 4 page menu. I literally ordered 3 different things that they came back and told me they didn’t have anymore of… the. The one dish my lady was able to order because they were able to make it with all ingredients, guess what… they brought her the wrong plate… needless to say that night we left without eating, I didn’t pay for the drinks we ordered due to their inability manage or maintain customers. The chef comes out and gives us two free meal hand written business cards for the situation… and due to that I never left a review.. we also never returned for the “free meals” since we figured if they couldn’t get 4 dishes that we ordered while we were willing to pay them made. Then we definitely do NOT WANT TO TEST THE WATERS on whatever they serve for free.. Fast forward 2 years. And I have no other choice but to leave this review in the hopes that others are able to avoid a huge dissatisfaction and disappointment. Overall. I rate the quality of restaurant a 1 star. The quality of service a 2 star, the food is a zero star, qualities of meats, flavors of food, freshness of products. All failed for me. This place reeks of a tourist trap! How they serve me the torta all fancy and stuff! Nah man. Yall have lost the plot here!!! Mexican food is supposed to be simple and affordable.. if you want to make it fancy and add all the extra food science behind it. Fine do it. But have integrity doing it. Don’t just sacrifice your products and freshness and still start overcharging because you added a few thinly sliced radishes and some green foliage. Anyways just my take on my experiences here the last serval years. There’s food trucks within 3 miles of this place that will serve you a QUALITY TORTA for a reasonable price! Loaded with flavor! Fresh ingredients! And a smiling face to serve you!! These are the people that deserve the tips and great reviews. RIP ASADAS

*****UPDATE ON THE BOTTOM**** Amazing service, Jesus service was OUTSTANDING, excellent customer service skills, food was great and my favorite, was the cantarito, totally recommended ***update*** Funny how almost a year later I’m coming back to say the opposite about the service and with the exact same server who did an amazing job the first time This time Jesus completely forgot about us, it was busy, i get it but.. I kept trying to get his attention, I got tired of waiting so got up and walked towards the bar to get my own drinks, the host saw me, and walked me back to my table, requested Jesus’s assistance, apologized for the inconvenience and got my drinks, after that, once again he forgot about us, (no big deal) when I was ready to leave, I asked for my check, he charged me two adult buffets and one child only, instead of three adults and two cocktails, I assumed that he gave me a discount for the inconvenience) gave him my card, he went back to the register, changed the bill back to 3 adults and two drinks, but didn’t say anything to me about the changes When he came back he just dropped the receipt on my table and took off, making it very obvious that he made changes to the receipt, that is definitely not ok, since it was Sunday brunch I didn’t wanna make a big deal, so just signed, (gave a tip) and left, I later called the restaurant, asked to talk to a manager, and told her I just wanted to let her know that what the server did was not right, I didn’t ask for refund, I didn’t ask for nothing back but just wanted to share my experience to help them better treat the customers in the future. Couple of days later once the transaction cleared, I realized my whole transaction ended up being 100 dollars more!! I called again, asked to talk to manager, manager was not available but chef returned my call, explained the whole situation, I was upset over the fact that I got robbed!! Technically server added a $100 tip, I asked to get a copy of my signed receipt just to see if I mistakenly confused the tip line with the total amount line adding the extra tip but they never provided it. They apologized once again for the inconvenience and said they would refund the whole transaction back to my bank account but it never happened I called again almost two weeks later they apologized again and promised they would refund the money but they never did, I gave up Definitely never going back Make sure to check your receipts before leaving the restaurant

We had never been to this restaurant before yesterday. We will ABSOLUTELY return. Our waitress was Adriana. She was so kind, patient, and extremely easy to talk with. I hope we see her again! I ordered a Strawberry Margarita and my husband ordered a Mexican Martini. I cannot tell you how many establishment *try* to cut the alcohol content to save themselves money yet, charge customers TOP DOLLAR. This is NOT that sort of establishment. I am only ALLOWED one due to a medication I am on and I look forward to this "treat" when I am out. This margarita did NOT disappoint. We chose to sit outside and, though it was a hot, July day, the fans on the patio kept us comfortable. Our daughter was able to explore the grounds and saw a rabbit and an assortment of birds as well. She LOVED this! I chose to get the brunch buffet. My husband had said that the next time we go, that is what HE will be getting as well. The selection and choices were incredible! Everything was fresh! There is absolutely something for everyone there. I'm sort of a finicky eater and my husband was concerned that I wouldn't eat. NO ISSUES. It was delicious! Our daughter ordered the steak fajita. A word? That is enough for TWO people. It's a LOT of food. Had we known, she and I would have shared it. We had to bring it home. My husband ordered the barbacoa. He said it was one of the best he's ever had. It certainly SMELLED delicious! We were there for well over an hour just relaxing, watching our daughter explore the grounds, and drinking our cocktails. We did not feel rushed to settle the check and leave. This? This was the BEST experience we've had in a restaurant in a VERY long time. Typically, we feel rushed to settle the check and leave. Not here at all. My thanks to Adriana and to the hostess. I didn't catch her name but she was very welcoming and also, was cleaning and turned to wish us well as we were leaving. That was extremely kind. The management there needs to know that their employees are extremely professional. This includes the gentleman who was refilling the food items on the buffet. We have been to so many establishments lately that need some professional development in this area. This restaurant? Top notch! Again, we will ABSOLUTELY be back but with the whole family. We absolutely enjoyed this visit.

We attended a birthday party last evening and had a private room with one server. We had my 3 grandchildren with us and ordered 2 lemonades for them. We were told that everything was included in the party package that our host purchased except for alcohol. I wish I could accurately describe the absolutely horrible service that we received but suspect it's not possible. It was a full 45 minutes before the kids got their drinks and that was after asking for them 3 times. Our drinks from the bar were delivered about 15 minutes after ordering. I also ordered two chicken tenders kids meals from the manager (couldn't find our server). Near the end of the evening I cancelled the order since we still had not received the meals. I spoke with the same manager and he seemed to be surprised that the meals had not been delivered and looked over to our server who had just walked up. The server convinced my son to accept the meals and presented 2 meals that had sat under the warmer in the kitchen long enough for the chicken to be hard and dry. Next we requested the bill. A bill was presented and explained to my son even though the server knew I was paying. It was on a mobile payment terminal so I completed the payment. The 20% tip was already included. I reviewed my receipt on my phone and when I tried to complete the survey attached found that I got a message that a review was already submitted. I found that I was charged $5 each for cups of lemonade that were 4" tall and delivered so late that a refill wasn't possible even if we could have requested with our absent server. They also charged me for the 2 ruined kids meals. I spoke with the manager, Hector, and he was both apologetic and professional. Our server also told me multiple times that she simply did the best she could but interesting, did not offer one word of regret for ruining our evening. Jenny was our server and she presented an obvious disregard for all things service related. The meal was a buffet so her only level of service needed was for drinks. She attempted to present as friendly but honestly all professional servers know better than neglecting the kids meals. This was not my first time at the restaurant and my previous visits were very enjoyable. Last night was so horrible that I will not...
