Had recently had some issues with my gorgeous but also fairly new (received it in April from New York) upgraded engagement ring. Unfortunately the jeweler in New York who had made it was not going to be able to do any repairs on it, so I was on my own to find a jeweler locally here to do the repair work. Had had some fairly recently not great experiences with local jewelers in the area so was searching for a new and trustworthy and reputable jeweler to help. (A lovely man I had previously taken everything to for repairs finally well-deservedly retired so was no longer able to help). Had read many many lengthy and detailed rave reviews about this business and the focus always seemed to come back to their wonderful staff and their above and beyond amazing customer service. Am usually not one to go by reviews and like to usually explore and find great businesses (and sometimes not so great ones) in person by trial and error. But after all the wonderful reviews, I did decide to give them a try. From minute go after just walking into their shop, their warmth and friendliness and enthusiasm and willingness to help was like physically palpable. It was so refreshing and lovely and put me instantly at ease. Tahir and his lovely nephew instantly felt like old friends. Tahir was so lovely to gush over my ring, saying how lovely he thought it was. This was very sweet of him as it was a piece made by another jeweler and not by him, so he easily could have considered that competition and not said anything at all. This made me see that he respects the work of other craftsmen in his industry, which is really great. He said it was an honor to be working on my ring and an honor for me to trust him to do so, instead of what usually happens with other jewelers (which is being made to feel like it’s nothing but a chore to work on the piece for me). I also had an eternity ring that a little diamond had fallen out of and he happily agreed to work on that too and replace the missing stone. Gave a timeline for when the pieces may be done which was beyond reasonable. True to their word, I got a call within the timeline letting me know the work was done. Went to collect them tonight and Tahir himself welcomed me in like an old friend again lol and then got the rings and went over all that he had done to them. They had also cleaned them both beautifully, and the fireworks from them are just so distracting it’s hilarious! Just immaculate work and they both look and feel safe and secure and just wonderful. Huge peace of mind for me knowing that they are strong and much more sturdy now. It’s a great feeling of relief. And Although he was there by himself tonight, Tahir took the time to make sure I was very happy with the rings and most importantly with the customer service. He even had me try them on in front of him so he could see them on and be sure all was well and I was happy. Well to say I was happy is just an understatement!!! I am thrilled! What I am MOST thrilled about though is I know now that I have found my FOREVER jeweler! Cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Also- this is a family owned private business which is even more special to me as I always prefer those to chain businesses. (My husband has his own business and I do florals on the side as a small business of my own (for my day job I am a nurse of many many years lol) so small businesses are very near and dear to us and we support them whenever we can!) Please please please go see these lovely folks for all of your jewelry needs! You will be so happy that you did! (Oh by the way- don’t even get me started on the items they have for SALE in the store- they are just gorgeous and it’s a gigantic selection! It took all the willpower I had to scram without buying a new piece lol. They also do full on made from scratch custom pieces if that is what you need!)
