I didn't even realized they opened a new store. The original non-Off 5th store used to be on Great Hills. This location is huge! I was very excited to see what there was inside!
There are a ton of Handbags to select from, however not any real high-end brands that I was anticipating. There are a ton of Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Coach and Betsey Johnson bags. There were very few YSL, Furla bags. There is a large shoe selection. I didn't find any good deals, but my friend got a good deal there. A ton of shoes to search through. I didn't look through much of their clothes, but they also had a giant selection as well. It's very nice that everything was spaced out and there was room to shop. It wasn't a lot of digging so it was nice compared to other stores.
I wasn't too impressed by the jewelry section either. I think there is a lot of potential here and perhaps they are still in the opening stages and haven't gotten a lot of product in yet. Not that there seemed to be a lot of empty shelves or anything. The sunglasses section was a bit hectic. There were a ton of glasses to choose from, but it was slightly annoying since the brands that were on the display, were not the sunglasses that were...
Read moreIf you are looking for high end, couture items, this is not the place. For women there is usually about 2 racks of what is labeled "Direct from Saks" which are the only true outlet items. The rest of the store is filled with inferior quality merchandise, private-label" goods and "cheap" brands such as (Wildfox, lowest quality Calvin Klein licensed brands, T Tahari (another low quality line), Ivanka Trump (made in China). A quick examination of the products reveals the obvious lack of quality in fabrics yet they are typically priced at the full price that the regular Saks Fifth Avenue offers. I'd recommend shopping the regular stores sales which offer significant discounts during Sales. Lastly, if you visit here regularly, you'll notice very slow turnover of merchandise. They've had several women's clothing items priced at regular price for over a year that I've watched. I would recommend driving to south Austin to the Neiman Marcus Last Call store instead. It is a true outlet store and has a great selection with very generous sales on a regular basis. I have a closet full of beautiful couture and contemporary designer pieces that I paid 25% of regular...
Read moreI totally understand why this Saks off in Austin has low stars/review. The 2 person doesn’t know what are they saying and doing.
The black girl offers me 10% off and wanted to know if I’m eligible. So I asked “is this a credit card? Because I already have one and I’m already a member here. She just insisted the 10% off… thank God the manager is there to save her.
Then I returned the 1 item that cost more than $50 and exchanged it to around $40 and the guy told me that I owed $10??? If I’m dumb I’ll just say yes and pay. So I need to tell him how much the cost and it’s totally understandable that he is not aware about the price. 🤯😓😤🫣
I love going and buying in Saks off 5th in Dallas. But I think you need a better employee...
