francesca's — Local services in Austin

Went into francesca’s just to look around and ended up scoring some deals on a few cute tops! I'm writing this review because service was stellar! Shelby was so friendly and helpful and I was very impressed with the level of service she was providing to each customer. I observed her learning customer's names, asking about their plans for the evening, how she could help them, etc.... That's typical retail sales stuff but Shelby was so genuine! She offered to get me a dressing room started and wrote a nice message on the mirror for me, that was a sweet touch. She honestly made me feel so valued as a customer. Bonus, I always appreciate shopping in a clean and organized store and this location was spotless and very well taken care of.

I learned Shelby was a manager at the store (no surprise by her work ethic, service, and hustle). She told me about how much she loves her job and that shows. I hope she's there next time I go back because I know I'll have a great shopping experience!

I waited at least 15 minutes for a fitting room and when I finally got in, the curtain of my fitting room was opened twice while I was undressed, once by the manager. She asked if someone was in there but didn't even wait for me to respond before opening the curtain. It was so violating. Then when I went to the register the girl did not acknowledge me or ask if I was ready to pay. She just continued folding clothes like I wasn't even there. Terrible customer...

The store had very nice stuff. Nobody told me about the sale that was going on, or greeted me, or asked if I needed help. Two young ladies were behind the counter on their phones. Some other customers came in and they were greeted and had a nice conversation with the ladies behind the counter about the shoes the customer had on. I was shocked when I heard that one of the ladies was a manager. Very nice stuff but the customer service needs help...
