Central Park — Attraction in Austin

There is an extreme smell of horse poop and urine EVERYWHERE when you walk in. Even when you drive past from the street it's there.

The main ring loop road (where all the joggers run) is completely covered in horse poop. The horse carriages may be great for the tourism operators, but they are terrible for everybody else.

When you go further into the park, you're further away from the horses though. If the horse poop and urine can't be constantly cleaned then they should not be allowed to operate because it has a big negative impact on the rest of the enjoyment of the park.

We rode a CityBike through the park and it was great, aside from the horse poop.

Had the best Mother's Day brunch with the family today at Central Market. The food was delicious, as always, plenty of outdoor seating , and the kids had fun at the playscape while the grown-ups enjoyed visiting under the shade tree... Fun little park right off of Guadalupe. Small parking lot and lots of Pokestops for those that enjoy Pokemon Go! Not much to do here besides walk around, but there is a playground near the central market on the worth west side.
