TCBY — Local services in Austin

Big fan of TCBY, not a fan of the customer service at this particular location. We came in on a Saturday, September 30th to get ice cream and was greeted by a lovely gentleman working, but I couldn’t say the same about his co-worker. She reluctantly approached me and just stared and I had to say, “hello” to get her to help me. She had an attitude the entire time and I was happy to pay for my order and move on. My son wanted a cup of water and he asked for a water cup, she said that will be 10 cents, but would not take our credit card because you needed to spend at least $2.00 and I just spent at least $15. HELLO EVERYONE!!! this is the most confusing establishment ever. FIRST OF ALL never in my entire life have I ever been to a TCBY that is not self served. I felt stripped of my independence in this establishment especially because im a topping girl 🥰🔥😌. They only allotted me TWO. When i asked for more the angel women working there said yes and was the only good part of this experience. The man next to her gave my friend a POOL of caramel and she ended up getting a MONSTER mouthful of caramel SMH 🤦‍♂️. The only reason i am making this review though is that both me and my friends dont have intolerance to lactose and we all became ill that SAME night.😵😵😵💀💀💀To say the least this is NOT this countrys best...

Nice place. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Tables and floors were clean. Good view of surrounding area. I had the sugar-free Mountain Berry, and I thought it was excellent. This was the first time I took my daughter out for frozen yogurt (we shared a small cup - perfect size) and she loved this particular flavor which was great for me since I try to keep her away from higher sugar options. My wife had the fudge or brownie flavor, and she said it was awesome. I would go back here again for sure. Great spot for families.
