We have been shopping at several furniture stores, some in the domain. We stumbled on to Tommy Bahama home and both of us said we had never heard of it. To our surprise we went in and found that they had a very nice collection of furniture that suited our tastes. Most importantly, the design consultant, Lori Lander was especially helpful and because of her we ended up making two purchases. She answered our questions when we needed something and if she didn’t know the answer she promptly found out. After showing us some items she gave us space to talk without any interference and she did this several times. As International Woman’s Day is around the corner I felt the need to call this out. Any feedback and coaching should be handled in a professional manner. There is no need to mistreat another employee in from of the customer.
As for the furniture, some of the pieces were not to my taste (on the ornate side) but most were quite nice and unique - with modern, classic and coastal touches. Was told that everything had arrived and that I would be receiving a call to set up delivery. Sold my old dining room set just in time. Now they're telling me my dining room set actually hasn't arrived and that I won't get it until January!
