They are not Verizon, therefore have limited access to change details about the account. They’re also incentivized not by me remaining a loyal customer for Verizon but making the sale, therefore customer satisfaction seems secondary to them making a commissioned sale. Example, they sold me a MiFi unit with the promise that if things do not work out with said device, I can return it with a restocking fee. Well the MiFi did not work out as I was hoping to use it to allow my kids who were remote learning to connect to their zoom classes. So I returned the device and the sales clerk said it’s all been taken care of. A month later, when my bill comes, it turns out they had taken me off my previous discounted plan (where I was getting a discount through my employer) in order to start this new account and that in fact I’m locked into a year contract for the new MiFi number with a $187 early cancellation fee. Now I’m forced to deal with Verizon in hopes of reversing all the changes this location made to my account. Dishonest. Disincentivized to care for the long term relationship with Verizon, rather they prioritize their sale with costly...
Read moreHorrible experience. Was told by salesperson that I would receive two free iPhone SE's for signing up but the billing credit would show up on the bill in 3 months. Turns out that I get a discount on the prices of the phones but still owe $800 which will be paid over multiple years. I can only surmise that the salesman received a commission for selling the phones which is why he duped me. Also, was told I would receive a gift card for each of the 4 phones I moved from Tmobile. Turns out I only got 4 "gift cards" which are actually credits in the Verizon store. Definitely a bad experience
1/6/21 Update: Owner asked to be contacted for more info which I did a month ago. No response from them so can only assume their post about being concerned about the matter is simply an attempt to make them seem like they care. They obviously do not care and I am still out $800. If you want Verizon service I would go to a 'real'...
Read morePerhaps I will change my rating on how tomorrow goes, but so far, not impressed with processes, service, and the Manager of this store (Kate). She was indifferent and evasive when my wife and I tried to get information on where our new phone was after an Upgrade that turned into a Return/Upgrade. After being advised to get a smaller capacity phone despite being informed my wife needs a ton of space for music, photos, apps and videos. The manager could not tell us when the new phone would arrive - a week out perhaps. Why would the store not stock 32 GB iPhone 5S models? Seems like a popular item. It was the indifference and total lack of caring that rubbed us the wrong way. Called today, talked to employee, and the phone is in - but we have to wait until tomorrow to activate the phone "because the manager has the codes for that". This, people - is not how you...
