I went in there and ordered a quesadilla. I’ve been there before and always got a burrito and it was fine. It was a young girl who seems so annoyed that she had to wait on anybody.. In the picture, the quesadilla looks like it’s full of things besides cheese. She took a quesadilla shell put some cheese in it and folded it and started cooking it. I asked her if I could have beans and she did say yes, and added them. She then folded it in half and then I watched her sit there and hang on the machine and press it down so it was paper thin which I thought was weird, but thought maybe they’ll open it back up and Ask me what I wanted in it but she didn’t. She threw it in a box. I asked is that everything that goes in it and she goes yes I said oh OK she said if you want anything else you have to pay for separately I said OK but then she didn’t give me the option to add to it , she did ask if I wanted pico de gallo and I said yes, and then she threw it in the box on top of the quesadilla. Which soaked it. Literally liquid was pouring out of the box as I was walking . It came to 13.10 so one quesadilla folded in half with some cheese and some beans that she then squished to the size of a piece of paper and some Pico de gallo thrown on top soaking wet so now it’s just soggy Paper. I know this is Bainbridge Island and it’s known for having everything be exorbitant prices but that is ridiculous. I asked her if this was for the kids like maybe by mistake she somehow thought I wanted a kids quesadilla even though I had no kids with me she said no it’s an adult quesadilla.. I’ve never had so much attitude here before and soggy squished folded quesadilla with cheese and smashed beans for almost $14 is ridiculous. I definitely will not be back. There is a Mexican place up the road. I suggest...
Read moreI've been eating here occasionally for more than 10 years and have recommended it to many people. When on the island I make a point to visit here. My favorite is their double nachos, which unfortunately seems to cost $2 more each time I visit and have a smaller, more measured serving size. Today, the nachos were $14.75 and, as usual, tasted great!
However, I just want to warn everyone that if you ask for a little more beans -- ala Chipotle -- it'll cost you $2.50. And though they'll say, "It'll cost extra," they won't tell you the price while you're in the serving line. And although they refunded me my $2.50 after I complained about not being told the surcharge cost, I write this post to alert others. If you want a little more beans that Miguelitos Cocina charges for that compared to Chipotle, which doesn't do this to its customers.
Hopefully, Miguelitos Cocina will change this practice and will either make a point to tell customers of the surcharge cost or state clearly that extra beans cost $2.50 on their menu board above their serving line (maybe by...
Read moreWe eat here on almost a weekly basis and the service is always great and the food is always fantastic. I feel bad that I haven’t made a positive view for this place yet but today I experienced something that forced me to leave a good review for this place. I ordered three meals for me and my family and then got a couple of blocks away when somebody stopped short in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes and dump all three meals on the floor mat in the front seat of my car. I went back and explained what happened and they made all three meals again without charging me, which I was more than willing to pay. But they insisted that...
