Walgreens — Local services in Bainbridge Island

The pharmacist and Tony are ATROCIOUS! The manager should be ashamed to allow these two to have jobs- read all of the reviews, there is zero empathy or professionalism from both. After waiting TWICE for 30 minutes in line at the pharmacy, HOURS after my prescription was supposed to be done, I was told upon the second 30 minute wait that I could come back in an hour. When I explained I’d been back already, had two children in the car, Tony put his hand up, and told me I needed to move my car, he’d call me when it was ready, and that I need to prioritize my prescription, that I’m just 1 of 300. Exactly- I am ONE of the paying customers. As if that’s any of his concern OR his job- if I put in my order, I wait to the appropriate time, I then wait in line TWICE, why is it MY ISSUE and why is it any concern of his when I do it???? The issue is the pharmacist and staff cannot handle their jobs, lack professionalism and courtesy and are out and out AWFUL! Go anywhere else if you can! The pharmacist told me I need to find a different pharmacy since I’m unhappy. Ha, don’t worry, we will! My business will absolutely go elsewhere, where employees speak with kindness and respect! The issue has never been the wait time, it’s their obnoxiously...

No one works here.

This location is comically understaffed. I've been trying to fill a prescription for some time now with no luck. When I call I'm on a hold for anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes IF they answer and then they can't answer my questions. When I come in person I wait for 10 to 30 minutes, and then they can't answer my questions. The non-pharmacist people working here don't know how to use the systems and are rude or defensive when I ask questions. I don't get consistent text message updates on my prescription. My prescription disappears from my online account. They offer a delivery service, but no one knows how it works, so if you opt into it, your prescription just sits in a doordash bin for days. The only reason I'm still coming to this pharmacy is because the next closest Walgreens is a 40 minute drive...

The pharmacy portion of this Walgreens is not great. Haven't used that for a while though, so it probably has changed since I have used it. The rest of the store is good, well lit, clean, good temperature and good stock in most situations. If you get there near closing time, be prepared for the staff to be unhappy with you though. I went there 15 minutes before closing time and was told "you know we close in 10 minutes right?" in a rather hostile tone, without provocation, as I was just walking to get 2 items. My friend works here and he tells me policy is to serve customers up until closing, so this remark, especially when I didn't even talk to or ask for help from this staff member, was definitely uncalled for.
